This setup will re-use the stock caliper and e-brake assembly, rather you do not need to spend the money for the 300ZX rear brake assembly. The installation is very straight forward and takes less than one hour to complete. Just bolt the extension adapter to the stock caliper, install new rotors and put the caliper assembly back on and you are done!

This complete setup includes:

Caliper extension adapter x 2 (CNC machined 6061T6 aluminum)
312mm (12.2 inch) Slotted Rotors (4&5 lugs)
Bolts & Washers

Use this setup with the 300ZX front brake upgrade and your car will have much better braking power !

Does anyone know if it lets you use the rear z33 calipers while letting you keep the stock 240 e brake. Couldn't find anything in the forums.

The stock parking brake is built in to the caliper, and this comes with the brackets to reposition the calipers. As it says in the description, you RE-USE THE STOCK CALIPER. Not replace it with the Z33 or Z32 calipers.

The larger diameter rotor should provide better cooling, but you aren't actually getting anymore clamping force, since it is still the stock single piston caliper.

You cant use a stock 240 ebrake with z33 brakes - they have a drum ebrake

DAMMIT - STUPID i-NET LAG @ WORK...

HE BEAT ME :(

the setup will increase braking force multiplication because it moves it outward...

Or do a complete Z32 swap, with the internal drum parking brakes.

I have a similar set up (not from phase2, but from mike in the group buy).

FYI, if you get this, your front rotors will be smaller than the rear even if you have z32 rotor up front.

Impression of just buy the rear - none.
I have front 350z rotors with this combination and it works really well. Prior to this, I only had z32 up front with stock s14 rear and I did notice a difference. Only car ppl would notice that you have bigger rotor as it does fill in the space between the wheel. Park next to someone with just the z32 caliper and stock s13/s14 and you can see the size difference in the rotors.
