McCain announces plans to buy everyone a new car

John McCain announced on Sunday at a press conference that America needs to get rid of all cars made before 1995. His plan suggests that in 2 years all cars made before 1995 will be used either for novelty use or special purposes only. The U.S. government will give each person the Kelly Blue Book value of their old cars provided they use that money to buy some kind of hybrid car.

This is more of the same from both parties. Appeal to the ignorant masses with promises that either you have no intention of keeping or promises that will cost the american people more in the long run.

Dems/Reps don't realize that the reason that there are older cars on the road is because a very large segment of america can't afford to buy a newer car and or doesn't want car payments. Either that or their credit sucks.

This is nothing different than the economic stimulus package except this time we are hoping people spend the money on cars instead of tv's etc. So our gov't is going to continue writing checks for money they don't have hoping we go out and buy newer cars and go into debt.

Obama and McCain are two sides of the same coin. Nothing will change. I don't care if I throw my vote away...I'm writing in RP.
