Okay, so I swapped my motor in my car, and replaced the clutch while I was at it. Its been like 300 or so miles since the swap, and my clutch disengages REALLY high on pedal travel, like as soon as I get past the little bit of play before the pedal moves the master cylinder. Its really annoying, and the clutch doesn't really 'bite' like I think it should. I have yet to remove the damper box (I know, I know), but I don't think that will have much of an impact.
Any ideas?

I don't understand. When you're just starting to push the pedal, as soon as you touch the pedal the clutch disengages?

pretty much what he said.. the pedal is attatched to a rod that goes into the master cylinder. This rod can be adjusted so you can adjust the engagement point. GL

I was thinking that. Then again i don't want to adjust it and not have it come back up on its own and lose cruise control haha.

That's about right. I have maybe half an inch to an inch of dead play, then bam there's the clutch.

That's why there is a spring on the clutch pedal. Take some of the pre-load out of the MC.
Also, Why didn't you remove the damper box while you were at it? you can use the stock hose and you probably had the line disconnected for they clutch job anyways.

Nope. The tranny stayed on the car while the motor was out. I didn't have any tubing to use to bleed the clutch. I don't like the "Press it down then I'll open the valve, idiot!" method.
I'll be removing the damper as soon as the rain stops making things miserable.
