I hooked up a front mount today and when i took it for a test run i had a minor leak when i got up to boost but the temp guage when up to H within the first minute of running. Then when i shut it off the coolant in the resivoir started to bubble, like it was boiling. I figure my radiator stopped working? has this happened to anyone? Any suggestions?

was it overheating before you put the FMIC on...your porbably blocking the airflow if anything.. either cut the bumper so you get more air to the raidiator or upgrade your fans

i cut alot of my bumper off. It should have plenty of air flow. And no it wasnt overheating at all before i have a koyo radiator and never gone over half on temp gauge.

What kinda fans are you running? Electric or Clutch? If E-Fans How many?
I had a similar issue when I finally put a bumper on mine my temp rose 10-15* C until I wired up my second E-Fan
Try driving with the front bumper off If its better you got poor air flow

I have a similar problem, slowly getting more air into my rad with more and more holes

i just put two electric fans on, one 10inch on the front and one 14inch on the back of the radiator. (its all i could find at the moment) It helped, i didnt overheat in the first minute, but after 10 minutes temp started to increase past 3/4 on gauge. Any other suggestions?
Should i try a different set up on the fans or...?

Similar thing happened to my buddy after he put his fmic on. then he took off his front plate and the temp stays normal now. no idea if that would make a difference for you but it did for him.
