Well sorry bout the motor man but you had to be pushing that thing prity hard to shoot a rod.

Well I wasn't pushing it hard at all. I was doing about 45mph around 3500rpms when it just started to loose power then it went. All in about 300 yards. I wish I had a good "I was hauling ass when...." story but I was just driving normal, breaking it back in. :( And Yes it did have oil and Coolant levils full. It had about 35k on it.
The damage, oh just a small hole about 2in wide and 6in high right under the power stearing pump where the #1 cylinder is located. Luckly Dave found me a new block so I guess its back to square 1. Later

no problem Jim,;) :D oh yeah, you might consider for safety sake getting some new rings and bearings for the bottom end, you just purchased. since it is a short block and its not that much work to pop the pistons and crank out.
It would just be a little extra added insurance . If you want I could look into those parts for it.

I would appreciate it once again freaq. I slept in today so I didn't get a chance to mail out your money order. I'll get it out on Mon. deffinately though. Oh, I'm a little rusty though, what all comes with the short block. I am fairly sure what it is but just want to make sure. I'm probably gonna get a lightweight flywheel for it while I'm at it. I'll try to send you a pic of what was left. Later
