so being that 02 wrxs and what not are cheap as hell and still kinda be like a new car *well to me...

I never liked the looks of em, but being 02-07 all same chassis you could do the front and rear conversions..

man that thing looks clean as hell.. soo simple... Probably wouldnt take much to make a comparable looking one. Be one sweet ass daily driver.
Just looks like you could drive it everywhere and not worry too much about the typical stuff you might go thru with a slammed kitted s13/s14 as a daily driver etc

well 02-07 is same chassis just remodeled front and rear tail lights, some people had updated teh bug eye to 04 or 06 front ends.

I always thought of these cars as ugly and everyone has em.. but after seein that example is making me think twice about em.. Cheap , turbo awd daily driver, and less then 10 years old so still a modern car.

Just curious as to why that one looks soo dam good.. i guess its got fender flares, shaved side markers and emblems and rear spoiler , lip kit and great stance.

I personally would get a 2.5 litre WRX if I were set on a WRX. The 2.0 litre has trouble spooling aftermarket turbos.

STi's are getting cheaper so I would only get a WRX if I want to keep it stock.

the impreza is a great car ive driven all subaru has to offer from the STI to the legacy GT and the 2.5i/ wrx

i bought an impreza 07 2.5i as a DD and i'm very happy with it stictly as a daily driver after a year and change of owning it i've had no problems with it but one thing i can say is that i'm bored of it cause i'm not modding it (still looking to get another s13/14)

the things you'll probably like is the interchable parts between the sti and the wrx like enterior exterior and the turbos TMIC blah blah blah the market place is as good as zilvia's and filled with the same type of lowballers as well

as far as the suby community some are cool the rest are pretty weird/ bitches to do business with

i probably didn't get the full experience from owning a boosted suby but i wouldn't buy another subaru unless i'm getting an STI/ legacy GT

I'm pushing 390 IIRC wtq on my evo 8 gsr and It's held up fine. Going on 80k miles now and only had to replace the clutch about 5 times:spank: the clutches just don't hold up!

That was at vir during gt live and ive ran at cmp in kershaw. Id like to road race more but everytime theres an event theres a drift event. I put some new vinyl on it thats the same as my 240 but i think i like it better without vinyl.

whats needed to fit 04-05 tails on 02-03?? can you just trim the rear bumper to fit around the hump at the bottom?

but everything is interchangeble even front ends skirts ect ect

The changes to the '06 (first year with 2.5) over the '05:

2.5 ltr engine with active valve timing
17" wheels standard
Drive-by-wire throttle
bigger brakes, 4-pot up front, 2-pot rear
Leather and moonroof available

most difference was more low end torque from the 2.5 and taller gearing from 4-5th in the 2.5L's

Sti makes 260hp 274tq

Basically a rebadged redesigned subaru wagon. I always loved that integrated hoodscoop though.
