Just try this. It is from an orthopedic surgeon............ This will
boggle your mind and you will keep trying over and over again to see
if you can outsmart your foot, but, you can't. It's preprogrammed in
your brain!

1. While sitting where you are at your desk in front of your computer,
lift your right foot off the floor and make clockwise circles.

2. Now, while doing this, draw the number '6' in the air with your right
Hand. Your foot will change direction.

I told you so!!! And there's nothing you can do about it! You and I
both know how stupid it is, but before the day is done you are going to
try it again, if you've not already done so.

Send it to your buddies to frustrate them too.



And here's another one -- turn your foot in counter-clockwise circles and write Mississippi in cursive!

i did it 2/3 times. its not hard you just need to focus. i think it might also depend on whether you are looking at your foot or not. its a lot easier if you are looking at it, if you arent you need to concentrate.

do you mean a circle that's parallel w/ the plane of the floor or perpendicular to it? either way, I did it, not perfect circles but didn't reverse directions.

everytime I tried to do it the foot didnt reverse direction, but it did mess up the circle and try to change direction, then it just gets confused and stops.

If I slow it down and think about it, I can do it, but my foots not making much of a circle. haha... More like a odd oval shape and I can't do it more than once without my foot changing like it says. haha

reminds me of another similar trick. if you place your hand on the top of your head, and hold it there. now find someone ( no matter how big) and tell them i bet you cant lift my hand off my head by just lifting up on my FOREARM. and the will try but, in order to lift your hand off your head they would have to raise the weight of your whole body. it especially works if you have them use one hand, but usually works even with two hand unless the person is a ogre.

Hmm.
I tried it, and once I started making the 6, my foot reversed directions.
So I tried it again and reprogrammed my brain not to interfere with my foot while it's making circles. Now every time I do it, my foot doesn't change directions, even though I'm not concentrating on it.
It's all automatic. It's easy.
