Hey well I am thinking about buying this car...
90 240SX SHELL (http://cnj.craigslist.org/car/760167783.html)
But it was hit on the right side of the car..... If u look at the Frame u can see where it was hit.... I would like to know if that is fixable or not and how hard and mow much it would be to fix it... Or even It has to be fixed...

Its not showing pics for me but I say save your money and buy a clean chassis for your motor swap orrrr save your money and buy a clean chassis that runs right. You dont want to start with a car that has problems to begin with esp body damage, unless you are knowledgable with body work personally. Cheap 240 owners end up paying twice. Idk just depends is all. Too bad those pics arent showing though.

I'd pass. You have time before you can get your license to find a running car with no major damage.

it shows in the pic. look again

the part of the frame that is under the passenger side fender is crumpled from the impact. rad support is presumably mangled a bit as well. the seller is obviously trying to play it down by not really picturing the damage all that well.

i've had friends who have pulled out worse with a winch and a tree.
the rad support itself is replaceable.
if you think you can fix it go for it. i'd pass as well

Well the better question is, can YOU fix it??? If you cant fix it yourself, then no, its not worth it. For as much as it could potentially cost to have it professionally fixed, you'd be better off buying a more expensive car. Figured to fix that, itll probably run ballpark of $1500 unless you have a body shop hook up...

I'm telling you, SAVE SAVE SAVE for a better car. By the time you're 16, you will have enough money for a nice S14. I messed around buying shit when I was 14, bought a Honda Elite and poured tons of money into that tuning it, and bought a shitty Z when I could have driven the Cavalier my parents bought me till I saved a little more. If I could do it all over again, I would save until I was 16.
