starter grinds

The starter grinds sometimes when clutch is depressed... is it my starter? my clutch? or electical? let me know please? anyone been thru it before?

i heard ppl some some problems with the metal plate hitting the starter tahts between the engine and tranny make sure its straight. besides that i dont know ill ask some ppl.

I have had this same problem and a new starter fixed it right up. You might want to check for broken teeth on your flywheel first, that would cause the same problem but I doubt its very likely.

oh, unrelated but I see you have the same exhaust I just picked up, how do you like the GT spec? I can't wait to actually hear mine on the KA, I'm still waiting for parts so I can bolt it up.
