hey whats up guys... i over boosted my sr and i blow my last piston. im gonna go with 0.20 over sized stock pistons, what do you guys think about that?
i still got a problem to solve, the bearing on the rods and the crankshaft and a lil scratched up and the question i have is, will the bearings from a stock USA 95 nissan sentra with the sr fit on a RWD sr???
did anyone do this set up on their sr's???

since you're gonna take your crank/etc to the machine shop anyways. if you do get aftermarket rods, have the machine shop spec those out too. about 90% of the aftermarket rods need to be machined. typically the arp rod bolt is pressed in after it's made, or once they're torqued to the 47 ft lb most of them call for, they no longer are a perfect circle. our machine shop (which is next door) actually cuts the rod caps a little and re machines where the bearing sits.
the other thing a lot of people don't know, is that you need to file your piston ring gap correctly... a lot of people throw their motors together straight from the box the parts came in, and then wonder later why it didn't last etc.
just my .02, i wish u the best

it is the same, but it won't matter if you don't repair your damaged recycled parts.
