Anybody try this?
I HATE HATE HATE HATE the way this clutch engages compared to the ACT I had on before.
The throw out bearing sounds like its squealing pretty bad when I slip the clutch. (after searching this seems to be somewhat common... Is it really the TOB?)
Now that I have another TOB from a friend.... And the tranny would be coming off anyways.....
Could I make this spec stage 3 hold still with the stiffer pedalin' ACT Pressure Plate?
I really just want the damn thing to engage right off the floor like my ACT did for 4 years. It kinda hard to :2f2f: and be smooth about it with this piece of shit engaging at the top of the pedal. (for me anyways):hitit:
I have already adjusted the clutch pedal all the way to the bottom.... Still engages at the top of the pedal....
Seriously it blows the friction zone is about 1/2 and inch long with the Spec.
I tried searching but couldn't find a thread about someone doing exactly this....
Cliffs: will the spec stage 3 disc still grab so good with a good working 4 year old ACT street/strip pressure plate?:naughty:
