S13 Blacktop or Redtop?????

I had a sr motorswap done in my 89 240 and i was just curious on which motor i got put into my car. I was told that it was a redtop, however, when other people were looking at my car, they told me it was either a blacktop motor or a blacktop head due to the fins that are on the motor just below the valve cover. What do you guys think. Here are a couple of pictures...

Honestly, does it really matter? Either way its still a S13 SR, fins is one of the difference, o2 sensor could be another give away. Fatties are on the blacktops...

Really clean swap. +1 its a S13 SR no matter what lolz.

Mine has a Redtop but has fins also.Its called a "GEN II" redtop IIRC.The Last few before they started the Blk tops.Thats all.

More of a Chance I guess of Less miles maybe...but who cares.
Sensor/ECU # should tell you something also.

You can tell by the # of wires on the TPS or check out what ECU you have.

I was just curious and so were a couple of my buddies. We all had no idea and I figured this site could give me a little information. It is a clean swap and I am really happy with the way it turned out. Doug at Up Garage in Tacoma, WA does great and is great to work with. I appreciate the helpful info.
