Well just roaming the net and at www.takakaira.com found the new safc. Looks like the rev/speed meter. Just wanted to know if anybody has or knows anybody who has it and if it's any better than the Apex'i SAFC currently popular. I thinks it's considered ver. 3. Not sure though. Looking at getting one being I have I/H/E and am anticipating a DET swap this summer. Any thoughts/info would be cool. Also on a good note, it's even less price wise as compared to the currently popular AFSC.
Note: all AFC's talked about here are by Apex'i.

Apparently the new one lets you adjust fuel at 12 rpm points by 200 as opposed to the old 10 by 500. Which is good..very good. However it's still a piggyback like the older afc. Which makes it ok IMO.

Isn't the current S-AFC 8 rpm points?

Might be, I thought it was ten. Either way the new one has 12.

the "old" one is 8 points and allows +/- 50% adjusment. What do you mean by 200?

it can be adjusted at a 200rpm interval instead of a 500rpm interval.
