Ok These are custom front Housings for Koni/Ground Control setup with a lowered perch and powdercoated Silver. You would easily spend more setting up a set of strut housings like this. NO LONGER FOR SALE!

Oh well. Somone needs to jump on these at this price. Saves them a lot of extra work. Just by the Koni's plop them in. Put on the Sleeves and collars and your done. Hardwork has been done for you.

i suppose you would buy the 86XX rather than the regular ones and they just go in? the regular s14 konis require you to cut the stock shock for the fronts correct?

Have you ever seen richards housings to compare mounting clearance? I'd love to save a few bucks with these but his do look like they give more inner wheel clearance

I have seen Richards housings. I did not make these I purchased them with some Koni's I am making my own completely threaded housings as I have th rest of the hardware for it. This is a steal of a price for something like this. Its up to you.

so this is actually threaded for the gland nut at the top of the housings for 86XX series.. i was told that the factory housings wouldnt work for the koni 86 series.

i would be willing to bet these were not done by richard these are stock housings with a ring welded for a GC sleeve. richards are made of round steel stock and plates welded to them. and threaded at the top to take the gland nut that holds the 86xx koni's in.. these are more for a set of koni yellows.

Dude I got these from Fromxtor who got them from Richard(Veilside180sx). They were a very early design of his. If your not going to purchase keep your comments to private messages. Your just shitting on my thread so shut the fuck up.

He's on here - but he's mainly on Nissan Road Racing Forums - Powered by vBulletin (http://www.nissanroadracing.com)

FWIW - you can't run 86xx struts without a threaded glandnut to hold them in up top.

I would appreciate it if you guys could take your arguing someplace else. I posted these for sale and you guys proceeded to debate them I am reporting all of you to the mods for disrupting a for sale thread.

Arguing? Disrupting a thread? Please - my post was anything but those things...

Those struts might very well be tapped up top for a 48x1.5mm gland nut. Everybody seems to be interested in running 86xx struts on them, so I tried to HELP your sale out by mentioning the fact that they require a gland nut up top which would be the deciding factor beyond physically fitting.

Good luck with the sale though - all Konis are good stuffs.
