blown turbo. i think if you keep running it like that, the shaft can get stuck and some crap will happen. happened to my friend. lol

better off just sending the t28 out to get rebuilt atleast youll have a lil more power comin to the motor thats the best and safest bet

if you wanna do it yourself take it apart and see what ya got its fun lol

don't be an ass and fuck around with stupid shit like that.

either rebuild the T25, get a blown T28 non BB and rebuild that.

or get a new turbo.

just don't go putting random shit together from uncharted territory...unless you're creative

because you obviously don't seem creative. a creative person wouldn't have posted a question like that.

Its hard to disassemble a ball bearing turbo and put it back without fucking it up. On top of all that, its hard to get the balance back once its disassembled, hence the reason theres no rebuild kits for ballbearing turbos. You usually need to get it rebalanced during assembly. Get a rebuild kit, its only like $80-110 depending on where you get it. I just rebuilt a T04S using parts from Gpopshop.

stock t25 should be cheap. $150-200? on this board. Or just get a stock s14 t28. Someone is selling one right now.

Ebay has T-25 rebuild kits for like $60, I use them all the time with out problems.

Although you will be happier with a T-28, But you need to upgrade the fuel system some 550's if you wanna run more boost than stock without leaning out your fuel system.

"Hows a rebuild gonna make a turbo make more power??? You're not changing the fucking compressors or anything, just the guts..."

to the moron that sent me this a t28 will make more power than a t25 i said to just rebuild the t28 ya arsehead cuz if you dont know what your doin then it wont work right turbos require mad precision

ya. ball bearing turbos r very difficult to rebuild. and im pretty sure all rb26 turbos r ball bearing so it wouldnt work either way. i have to rb26 turbos, i havnt been able to find anyone to rebuild them. even my usual turbo guy wont even mess wit it. he says it is very hard to put the bearing back.

to answer ur questions. usaually when u blow a turbo oil seal u will get a lot of smoke coming out the exhaust. if u got oil coming out the bov, it might be excessive blow by. do u have a good catch can, is ur current catch can connected properly.

to check if its ur turbo, un bolt the turbo outlet and see if u got any oil gunked up in the back of the exhaust housing. if u do, then u got a turbo that is starting to go bad.

I would not suggest it. There are plenty of t28's and efficient t25's between here and KA-T. org that will allow you to make the upgrade w/o feeling the pocket dent on your leg! keep it pushin, I WOULD suggest you upgrade the turbine that you're getting for FREE & be happy with a ball bearing that will retain strength in lubrication, of which I am thinking is what caused your t25 damage.

Best regards
