I don't know what lines you have, but logically 90's should go on the turbo.
And as for flow, in from front and top, out through back and bottom. but water lines are user choice. TTBPC

the 90's go on turbo
if its s13 the inner is 90 down and goes behind the motor, top oil is 90 towards the motor and to the banjo flange, and the outter is 90 down and loops infront of the turbo inlet pipe to screw into the block,
if s14 its the same but rather then the coolant behind the motor its on the water neck.
hope this helps

If you remove the actuator, you can bolt the 90deg there, with plenty of room.
Curious,as to why you would even try to bolt it on over the actuator? Any Who!
If, it works for you, it works!

yeah im not a fan of putting the 90 degree fitting on the block side of things. I'd much rather take the 2 minutes and remove the actuator bar, put the fitting on, then put the bar back on. Always made more sense to me..

should you use the longer coolant line to the waterneck or to the block?

i had to use the elbow on the waterneck because the power steering hose got in the way.
