I need help, FAST.

Here's the skinny. Dropped an s13 motor into my s14, used my intake and exhaust, alternator, blah blah blah... got it fired up and it runs amazing. Let it idle for a while to make sure there are no major issues, then take it for a short test drive around the block. I hear a zap, and everything goes dead. No juice in the battery AT ALL. I'm thinking the ground on the back of the alternator came off. But isn't the alternator grounded out through the bolt/backet that holds it to the motor?

EDIT: Yes. The ground came off. But that doesn't make much sense as to why it fried my battery. Anyone know what kind of bolt goes there? Its nowhere to be found, considering I had to push it home.

or the + terminal wire on the alternator

I haven't checked that in much detail, cause it happened at midnight lol. No flashlight in the car.

I went to jump it, and it made HUGE sparks like a direct short whenever I touched the wires. I'm thinking you're right.

EDIT: Also failed to mention that the clip for what I'm thinking is the voltage regulator came loose.
