RF Components

Is the 6.5" RF component system just a bolt on and replace process? It came with a set of crossovers but it says they are for amp/sub hookup...I don't have either so I'm assuming I don't need them. Also, how do I get the pillars off to replace the tweeters? Thanks in advance.

Well, dont know about the RF kit specifically, but my MB Quarts component kit came with crossovers and I installed them and ran new wires to them from all the speakers and tweeters.

As for replacing the tweeters, the a pillar trim just snaps off. Just carefully pull it off. And to mount them, I ended up modifying the existing tweeter mounts to work with the new ones. Probably a lot easier than trying to fabricate something.
