I got this from my friend Matt on another forum.....weird. Discuss.....

I am not a conspiracy theorist but before yesterdays earthquake people were reporting seeing "aurora borialis" in the sky. I did some research and found that the Chinese government was claiming the US was responsible for making an Earthquake in early 2008 in China characterized by strange "aurora borialis" lights occuring before the earthquake. On a side not yesterdays Earthquake was wierd. It was strong and quick, never felt anything like it before, it wasn't like a normal Earthquake, and the Boxing Day Earthquake scientist state they have never seen Tsunami's like they saw during that Earthquake. Oh yeah people reported seeing, "Earthquake Lights".

Now!

Here is a Youtube Video of the Lights:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=Y8OnEnzz_ow

Where is this leading to? An American Military expiriement called HAARP. What does HAARP stand for? "High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program"

Are you curious now, I bet you are!

The CBC did a investigative report on this and found some amazing things. The CBC is an independant Canadian Broadcasting company sort of like PBS here in the States. The interview is below and it is quite amazing. I am an Electronic Engineer and have worked on projects involving Radio Waves and Radiation in the past and I can tell you... what you are about to watch is def. POSSIBLE!!!

Subject of the post notwithstanding, can I just point out that the CBC is NOT an independent company. It receives heavy government funding, and as someone who sees it nearly everyday on TV, it's so bias it's not even funny.

Think of it like FOX news in Canada, except it's to the left of center. Many people in Canada really don't take it seriously anymore. The federal funding is what keeps it from just folding up IMO.

I don't know about fundings and whatnot, but, I thought it was interesting. :)

Definitely is.

I digress... from my previous post since I was off topic.

There's been reports of lights during earthquakes before. I know there were reports of bright flashes of light during a small earthquake in Lima, Peru while I was there (it was at night and I slept through it). It does seem strange I'll admit. I know I've read about theories on electromagnetic discharge in the atmosphere being the culprit... With the movement along the plates during an earthquake, that's A LOT of metal and minerals impacting and fracturing... It's bound to release a lot of energy. Has to go somewhere.

Lights prior to an earthquake though is tough to explain... Maybe something along the same lines, but just a build up over time? Might be a more obvious effect of the same thing animals seem to be able to pick up when some act strangely before an event like a large storm or earthquake. Again, while I was in Peru, in the hour before the quake there were several more reports than usual of strange acting dogs, aggresive or frightened animals etc.

I know there's something to that. My old dog growing up could ALWAYS tell when a storm was coming. She'd act strange, whine all day and often not eat ANYTHING. Find a me a dog that won't eat when everything is normal...

Even if there is some gov. program causing this... I'm sure Hilary Swank will come save us all soon. :keke:
That was a terrible movie...

now i could see this being a possiblity in an area where no earthquakes occur, but doesnt socal lie over many active fault lines??
I mean what are the odds the government decides to test this shit right over a major fault in a major metro area.... im gonna say little to none

thats weird that the same light was in peru and china. lookin at other youtube videos of course.

The light in Peru was different. I personally didn't see it, but know people who did, and it was always described as a quick, bright flash of white, a similar one happened in 2007 and there's vids on youtube. Not the rainbow colored aura that hung in the sky like the video from China.

I really don't see anything so sinister happening with this HAARP program though. It's neat, but seems a little to obvious to me with how UN-protected it is, if it's really being used for what some people think it is. I'm sure if they wanted to build something along those lines, they could do so in a place, and in such a way, no one would even find it. Hiding in plain sight can work, but only to a point.

why couldnt we use some of our technology to stop hurricane katrina? Do you guys think it would work if we dropped a couple missles into the eye of a hurricane? Would the blast and heat mess up the ecosystem of the hurricane and pretty much kill it?

The government have fishy things going on IMO.

I'm beginning to be scared. Putting fluoride in our water? Watch the vid and be the judge. I mean, don't believe everything you see or hear but just take things into consideration.

Look at Zeitgiest, and then look at its sources... Not to mention the personal credibility of its creator.

Yes, I have watched it. It's not even correct in aspects of its understanding of ancient beliefs they claim are roots of modern religious figures, namely Jesus. (IE: Horus was not the sun god of ancient Egypt, that was Ra, Horus was god of the sky)

Esoteric Agenda think Nostradamus is a credible source... When Dec. 21, 2012 hits and nothing happens, maybe some of this will finally stop. lol

Which by the way, is thought to probably be a mis-reading of the calendar. Not to mention people have always been convinced the world is ending, for various reasons, in:

All dates are AD: 44, 53, 80, 100, 200, 130, 381, 400, 435, 470, 500, 950, 964, 965, 968, 979, 989, 1000, 1002, 1003, 1114... Let's skip a few centuries...

....1914, 1917, 1918, 1920, 1925, 1953, 1957, 1960, 1967, 1975....

....1997, 1998, 2000, 2004, 2007, 2008 (Yup)

.... 2010, 2012... Currently there have been over 230 PASSED dates for the end of the world from various sources, predictions, claims and findings.

I'm sure the list will continue in the future until it actually does. When you least expecet it.

I digress yet again. We're talking about earthquakes after all. haha

think about it
if the U.S. could buy some country.... lets say austrailia
would they?

if they could buy it for a couple trillion dollars
this is of course not possible or an accurate price for australia
but would they?

the government spends money on friendships with other countrys
it spends money to have influence on other countrys

do you think that if the government could spend money to create a machine to have more control they would?

look at history, learn from what has happened to every country and kingdom since the dawn of civilization,
its all just a constant struggle for power

Weird coincidence, but later the same day of the earthquake in LA this week I was driving on the highway at 1 a.m. here in Missouri and rain started pouring down and it turned into a huge lightning storm. I wouldn't connect those two things but I saw this thread and I just realized that it was the same day, weird. But seriously, for a period of about 10 minutes there was so much lightning that it was brighter than daylight, no exaggerating. I've never seen lighting hit anything before but that night it was hitting everywhere, I even saw a few trees and buildings get hit, and a couple of times it hit really close to me, I thought I was going to go blind and deaf. Definitely a scary but fascinating experience.

Earthquakes happen. It's part of living in California.

No matter how smart these scientists think they are, they cannot predict when an earthquake is going to happen. It just does.

I'm a conspiracy nut, but even that is retarded to me. Why would they blow up Chino???
