I believe a McLaren F1 oil change is about the same but they fly out to you. The oil is a special synthetic and there's something like 16 quarts in the drysump tank. I think there's also a portable xray of the oil involved as well looking for wear particles. Quite thorough but around the same price.

What alot of ya'll are missing is that this guy is obviously so insanely wealthy that money really is just not an issue to him. Us regular folks think in terms of what process would be the cheapest and easiest and go that route. For someone like him who probably has a garage full of many many more exotics, he tells an assistant what he wants done and they do it. There is no "but sir, it would be cheaper to do it this way.." because it just doesn't matter, the guy probably has no concept of the value of money because it has never ever and never will be an issue its just always there, like breathing air.

that aside, I'm betting that the Sheik was infact visiting London as part of his vacation. The oil change prob wasn't the main reason for this fuss. I once took a company trip out to London, and coincidently some wealthy family from the middle east were also staying at the same hotel. They took a few floors of the hotel, family, servants with them, cars as well. All flown in on their own jet. Supposedly, this isn't uncommon in London from what I heard from the hotel staff.

But say the sheik did do this for an oil change, so what? It's his $. I see no reason why he can't, in an otherwise democratic society.
