im the proud new owner of a 1992 s13 convertible (it was a deal i couldnt turn down). im new to s13's, but ive had my s14 for 5 years now. i have some problems that im sure some of you guys have ran into before.
first off, the tail lights are all messed up.
when i turn the car on, the passengers side light looks like the brake is on and the drivers side doenst turn on at all. when i turn the car off, the passengers side light still stays on and the drivers side light comes on. i have to disconnect the negative cable to the battery to get them to go off.
his mechanic said it was a simple ground fault. i searched and found that it could be fuses as well. is there anything else that you guys suggest?
second problem, the front lights flip up but wont flip back down unless you turn the car off and back on. fuses or ground fault again? im not great with electronics.
third problem, it needs a windshield. this is something you guys cant help me with, but how much have you guys paid to have them installed? i can find the glass for around $125 new.
i can handle all the other little problems, but ive never messed with oem wiring before.
thanks in advance :bigok:
