Volks CE28N 17x9.5 +15 (forged 15lbs) $$519.00 (A little bit out of range)

PS: for 17x9.0, should I run 225/40 or 215/40? (the Falken RT615 i like don't come with 225/40/17 :( )

I'd go with the tc105s and the falkens maybe you could try 235/40s or maybe even re01r in the same size.

I have the TC105N in 18x10.5 +12 for the evo and they look pretty fresh. Not too many people rocking them either.

You can see some real pictures of the 10.5 +12 here.

The only think is the 9 +10 looks to have an FR face vs the 10.5 +12 RR face...

thanks for the links, the pic look really nice. What's differences between FR and RR face?? By any chance you know a good place for get them for cheap? :)

This is going to be on a white s14 kouki with stock areos. I decided not to get 18s mainly due to avoid destroying the subtle lines of stock areos. And of course, light weight and cheaper tires. btw, i thought 235 is perfect for 9.5 width rim!? I think a mild stretch might be nice, maybe not on 17"s?

How about some r33 rims or some Enkei RPF01s.

235 is a stretch on a 9 or 9.5 rim, most common standard fit on 9.5 is 275, i too would suggest a 235/40, after all for your purpose you do want more grip!

I'd say save the little bit of money and go with the SA70, the bronze and blue would look sick on white!

save up for the volks dude...if you can save for another month or two and get VOLKS, i say do it man. you've waited this long, whats another two months ?? and you will get wayyyy better lookin and more rare wheels than the Fno1r-c's AND the CEs are lighter.

you know im right, save your money and do things right.

do not get the 17x9 +10 wedsports

They look like shit in that offset, they are barely concave. It's extremely far removed from the face of the 18x10 face (RR)

No one makes a 225/40 in any decent compound, so forget about it

Run a 235/40/17 and pound your fenders until they fit

I like the TC105N also.....

But RPF1s are my favorite track wheel. Light, wide, and low offsets...I just wish they had more of a concave face.

volk are nice but too expensive and way too common, wedsport are more rare. I was going to get the SA70 due to price and good performance but I found some RPF1 for ~1000 and I went with those. RPF1 are just as strong and light.

However, if you don't care about money go for wedsport

dang those wheels look like they can clear MONSTER caliper sizes. the lower offset you go the more brake clearance you get. seem slike the face sits at the same spot, doesn't go concave or anything.

TC105N if you really have the funds, those are hot

I have the SA70's with a +22 offset all around and they are just right for me. I can't lower the car unless i roll the rear fenders.
