Whats up all.... I'm O and I'm about to purchase my first 240. I'm looking at a 1990 coupe and after i buy it about 2 months after i'm going to have a SR swap done. My question is whats a good place to find the JDM s13 front fenders and lights pretty cheap? I've searched the site quite a bit and here is a little shopping list I've come up with. Please recommend anything that else that i'm missing.
Blitz LM Intercooler
Apexi N1 Dual Catback
Blitz SUS Intake Kit
Blitz DD BOV Kit
Koyo Aluminum Radiator
Power Enterprise Upper and Lower Radiator Hose
TODA Lightweight Flywheel
Skyline R33 n1 fuel pump
All of this stuff will be coming in about a 5 to 6 month span
Also i wanna say you guys love your cars, I see that thru all the forum activity i see, and I wanna be a part of it. :D
PEACE

you DONT need the intercooler if your runningthat setup. its overkill. stock boost and all, just use the SMIC. i wouldnt worry about an intercooler till you get in the mid-200s for RWHP
u should replace the belts.
DEFINATELY a new clutch when you install it
good call on the radiator.
blitz intakes SUCK. bad filtration but good power
get Apex, good power best filtration.
u DONT need the GTR pump. you can use a z32 pumps. skyling people in usa use z32 fp when their gtr ones go out. same thing basically. the z32 requires some modification it hink. the walbro 255 works great for your setup and cost is reasonable.
your overkill on the fuel pump! haha..
also might want to add a boost gauge off the bat to watch how the engine runs when boosting. if its a 90 coupe you need a 91+ guage cluster for it to work (gauges).
the s13 front is $1000-1400 depending on how complete and which headlights it has (non projectors is VERY rare).
um..that's all i have to say about that.

Looks like you forgot about a downpipe. I would personally get the intercooler, overkill > underkill, besides I'm sure your gonna want to up the boost in the future (I also have a deep distaste for the stock cooler)

true, but the intercooler can be added later, work on the stuff like gettting new spark plugs, oil, boost gauge, downpipe, might need a new oilpan depending on its condition..etc etc.
it depends how many franklins he has in his wallet.

True, I figured the performance mods would be after the tune-up stuff.

ah, then i'm with you on the FMIC!
i agree with you!
not sure how 'in depth' he thought of the stuff BEYOND mods. basic maintenance should be FIRST!

I'm going to have the swap done by Mckinney Motorsports. I was assuming that they do preoil motors and check belts to insure proper operation. Thanks for the info about the boost gauge, I'll add that and probably a a/f gauge also. But once i get the downpipe intake and catback system shouldn't i also get the FMIC? or can i hold off until I get a brand new turbo? When all is said and done, I'll turn my attention to buying a new turbo in July of next year along with more then likely a JWT ECU. Thanks for the input guys, I'm just starting to get into other cars after spending my entire driving life in RX-7s. But i'm tired of swapping engines, and having seals go out.... oh and this is even after changing oil every 2500 miles.
