Well... Its a good thing i dont run e85 in my bmw... But im not as misinformed as most regular consumers. I know not to use e85... Although i was thinking about getting my car porfessionally modified to run e85. I like 103 octane.

if you look at the article closely it also pretains to the 10 to 15% gas/e85 mix also

Not all states have 10-15% ethonal. MN does and has forever. ND does not.

O NO! all of turbo import guys switching to E85 are going to blow up!!!!! And cause so many fires.............

NOT!

If you switch to E85, and the people that do all normally do it right with new fuel systems(and getting the car tuned for the fuel and fuel system) and shit. There will be no problems. If you do it ghetto, and stuff breaks down cause of old rubber and you start on fire, you should learn your lesson.

E85 rocks on boost. I've had fuel lines start leaking from E10 usage(which is all you can get around here) - so I think once you add alcohol in the mix you need to just treat the fuel lines like a long term maintenance item like control arms etc.

I've used it in my S13 without any ill effects, and it definitely felt like it made more power over E10 93 octane. Then again, somewhere in the 350ish rwhp range had me maxing out my Nismo 740cc injectors, so you definitely need a lot of injector to run it.
