Mods/Admins...If you consider this a commercial post I apologize in advance. I wasn't sure where to put this and I just wanted to help out my fellow Zilvians. I haven't had a problem with this on the other forums I frequent. If this is a problem rest assured it won't happen again
I recently acquired a store manager position with Verizon Wireless. If anyone near the Mesa AZ area needs to switch to Verizon or upgrade their current phones come on down and see me at my store.
I need 7 more new activations this month...this includes wireless broadband access and cellphones.
Current specials this month are...
-Free (after $50 mail in rebate) USB Broadband aircard on a 2yr activation $59.99 5GB monthly plan.
-Free phone (after $50 mail in rebate, selected phone models) on any plan $39.99 or higher
My store is located in the Dana Park Village Shopping Center @ Val Vista and Baseline in Mesa Arizona.

I can probably still help you if you have access to a fax machine and can wait for me to ship your phone to you.

Verizon is a great company to work for! Been with em for about 2 years now. I work at a retail store in Norcal.
I think the best sales tool I use is employee discounts. "free phone" only gets you so far, but say "20% off your monthly bill", you're golden!
Good luck with the new job!

Every company has different discounts (if any). I don't like promising stuff I can't deliver. I can tell you that ASU students get 10% off monthly bill and Maricopa county state employees get 15%. Let me know and I will check on the discount for your company.

Not much I can do with out an upgrade or activation because there is no subsidy for the cost of the phone. Sorry friend.

Call my store up and we can do this over the phone if you have access to a fax machine. I'll need to send you some stuff to sign and I will need a copy of your driver's license or gov't issue id. You'll have to be able to send the paperwork back to me signed with the id.

the only prob i for see is that the phone is under my bro's name...ive had the service/number for like 04, but the plan has been active since 02-03 when my bro was using it...:ugh:
is there anyway i can just transfer the ownership to my name, i have my bros info...so its not a biggie...im already payin for it online using my card so i might aswell change the account name, but i herd the pricing my go up because ill be considered a ''new costumer'' when in fact ive been paying for it for years
and i was wondering if u could PM me how much it would cost in the end...:ugh:

You have a few options. First you can do what is a called a transfer or liability. Basically means they get both of you on the phone and your bro releases the number to you...provided your pass credit you get the account under your name. Option 2 is to just cancel your bro's account, get a new number, get a cool new phone, and go on with your life. You will however have a $35 dollar activation fee which I cannot waive.
If your bro's contract is month to month then there is no termination fee.
