start up problem

I recently have been experiencing a problem on my blacktop sr20det. When the cars cold and i go to start it up in the morning the car starts up but the ildes stutters drops to 0 and the car dies so i have to apply some gas and rev it a bit to keep it running then when i let off its fine. Starter or Alternator busted?

does it only do it in the cold...i would say maybe a tiny vacuum problem..but if only in the cold then idk...my CA dies down on cold starts sometimes but its never shut off on me before

yeah only when i start it in the morning its not freezing cold out there its like 12-16degress when i go out in the morning. but the rest of the days its fine sometimes it'll do the same during later on the day
