First get your whole fuel pump assy. out ,then unplug it take it to a buddy's 240 and just plug it in and move the floater all the way up. If his gauge moves it means your gauge is out or a problem with wiring from sensor to gauge. If his gauge does not move it means your sensor is out. g/l

DDSR240 has an easy solution for you. its not that hard to pull your pump out. i figure you changed the gauge cluster to "DE" or "SR". so first question is did the gauge work prior to the change? If it did, you may possibly have bad fuel gauge or contact/wire open. if it never worked, it could be the fuel sender or the parts mentioned above.
Easiest test is to check your elec. fuel system with a multimeter. Continuity and resistance is how you would diagnose it. you will need a FSM
Next easiest is to just pull the fuel pump/sender assembly and plug it into another s13 That Works.good luck :x:

Search my post in this forum. It tells you how to diagnose a bad fuel gauge and low fuel light.
At least it should :) Let me know after you've searched.
