SPECIAL EVENT NOTICE: On Saturday, Speed Ventures will be hosting Gumball 3000 after the course shuts down (from roughly 5:30pm-7:30pm). This event will not interfere with our regularly scheduled run groups. More information will be available regarding this special event soon.

Basically, a bunch of celebrities in supercars are gonna be at Buttonwillow eating hot dogs or something. Found this quote...

Entrants include David Hasselhoff driving the legendary K.I.T.T. car from Knight Rider, famous drummer Travis Barker, MTV's Rob Dyrdek (Rob & Big) in a fully customized '69 Camaro as well as Johnny Knoxville and the rest of the "Jackass" guys...driving everything from Ferrari Enzos to Bugatti Veyrons, Rolls Royces, old Cadillacs, low riders and even a few electric cars.

Also, according to Wikipedia, John Mayer will be there in a Ford GT. Whatever.

Already signed up. I'll be there in my evo. Might be a better deal if you do the 2-day Buttonwillow event the same weekend. you save $20-$40 iirc.

SV are also doing an autoX event this Sat 07-26 at CA Speedway. Decent value for $80.
