Installing An Alternator In The Dark!!!

LOL is about all I can say on this one LOL...About a week ago my alternator went down on my S13 SOHC. So I ordered one from advance an haven't had time to put it on cuz I've been really busy (gettin tha combines ready to shell corn) But I told myself I was gonna stop procrastinating an JUST DO IT when I got off work tonight...I have no shop at my house an couldn't get ahold of my grandad to use his so I tore into er' in my driveway lol...No sooner than I get tha damn thing off my flashlight died on me so I ended up havin to USE MY FUCKIN CELL PHONE to put it back on an got that shit done in about FIFTEEN MIN. BUT OMG WHAT A BITCH!!! Anyways tha moral of this thread was to see what all other kinda crazy shit some of you out there have had to do to keep your NASTY NISSANS runnin!!!
