Id rather see some dogfights tho, not the "simulated" school training fights they where doing in the story
I watched alot of the extra contents on teh dvd, it was badass how they filmed it, mostly models and stuff, it looks more believable then CG now. You just know they will use all CG animations if they do a new one..

and its gonna be a dam navy or airforce recruitment commercial lol

or use Val Kylmer , tho he needs to loose alot of weight and looks like shit now

real dogfights wouldn't get the same excitement on screen, so they have to do all the unnecessary rolls and spins to make it exciting on camera. the first one was definitely a recruitment video lol half of my pilots idolize maverick its always a crack up to joke with them. I doubt it happening though

i also watch the extra footage on the dvd and the kenny loggins music videos ruin the songs lol a definite video killed the radio star moment

oh yah all teh unrealistic things in the dogfights, that made the movie exciting, but i meant as they should have real enemies in the next one would be cool.. not just guys going thru teh training. Maybe somethign more important towards a war activity. But then it wouldnt be "Top Gun" hmmmm

Seriously. there is no way you can make a sequel or remake of this movie. It is just TOO damn good. Seriously one of the best action movies Hollywood has ever made.
