Hey all, we pulled it out sunday and are getting rid of it in order to do the swap. if anyone in the midwest is interested in buying it or pieces of it, make me an offer. if you want pieces, i will not take it apart until someone has made me an offer to make the work worthwhile. the engine does not turn over.

we also have a manual transmission for sale. we arent sure how good it is... the car was bought "as is" for a project. we pulled almost everything from the bay... cruise, a/c, ecm, etc so that if there is something you need, more than likely we dont need it and are willing to sell it.

the engine/tranny are located in northern iowa. i travel to chicago frequently and an arrangement could be worked out to deliver. we pulled the engine and tranny on sunday, here are a few pics for ya...

How are the electrical connectors for the fuel injectors? They are the black rubber/plastic boot that plugs directly into the top of the injector. If you are looking at the connection from the top of the engine, the little notch on the plastic should be slightly off set to the right!

get back to me

$16-shipped if in great condition

for the tranny, $250. we're pretty sure its in good shape, but cant be for certain since we never had that motor running. I am driving to chicago on the 11th of January for an autox awards banquet, where exactly are you located? I can throw the tranny in my lude...hehe... I fit an h23a1 tranny in my trunk before, i think a ka24de tranny will fit :)

I live in North West Indiana. Now would you concider trades? Cause 250 sounds a tad bit too high for a trans that could need rebuilt. I've got a bunch of extra SR20DET parts. T28 turbo, greddy downpipe, ect........ [email protected]
thanks joe

I pulled the ECU. $75.

The head is in good shape, needs new head bolts (of course) and a little polishing where one of the valve spring sits. I can take pics of it if you want. $75 if ya want it. I pulled it and cleaned it up already.

Where are you located?

Is the entire engine wiring harness sold yet? If not, how much would you want?

The car was purchased as is, wasnt running for us. A piston was fried along with a broken rod, as you can see:

Fortunately, the head wasnt affected, not cracked or anything.

Here's a pic of the knock sensor:
