exactly. Sometimes I wonder how this stuff even became popular! I remember when this type of music came out EVERYONE thought it was the stupidest music ever created. Now, you have kiddie boppers bbaaaaaaaaalastin this stuff just about everywhere. It is seriously MTV's attempt at dumbing down the black youth so they could continue to buy retarded things well into their 30's.

why do you think the public asked for this? There's people that dictate what people will wear, listen to, watch, and it shapes all our lives. In fact, it shapes generations. It just so happens that most of the music directed towards black youth is self-engradizing and makes a mockery of music in general. What type of influence does this music have on the youth? A TON! The fact that this person OBVIOUSLY looks uneducated and the fact that a person like this shapes millions of lives makes me think that it's a ploy. It's not a secret that rich old white men can be racist and if you think that someone else is controlling what is being released then you're naive.

So your saying that this shit just comes out when WE want it too??

No my friend that is not how it works....

All this two step do the superhero shit is what is hot right now to most of the PUBLIC but thats not why it is being released..

You gotta strike when it's hot so that is what the industry is doing..

Just like when all them finger snapping shit came out, them songs never ended....

Just like when a new wheel that comes out they make more like it...

I'm not saying that the public controls what gets released. I'm saying that a handful of people control what you're going to like and what you're going to wear. You wouldn't believe the amount of racism that is going on with the people that own labels. They're in it for the money and they realize that if they could keep people ignorant and uneducated then those people will not grow out of ignorant and uneducated types of music, thus buying ridiculous records into their 30's. Most people grow out of Barney, most people grow out of certain things but it's so easy to convince a large group of people what they should wear and how they should think people in power take advantage of it for personal gain.
If you disagree with me, it's fine, I don't mind but I've always thought outside of the box. So much so people think I'm :loco:

It's all a phase like a trend it'll die out....

Like look at all the trends we had in the past 5-6 years

Finger snappin

Hyphy

Reggaeton(which i still love- my heritage)

soulja boy is self-made. he posted his videos to youtube, people watched the shit out of them, he made up a dance, people watched the shit out of it, interscope gave him a record deal, and now we get a new shitty song every few months.
i'm not going to say that record companies don't still control what gets released when. but the public drew attention to soulja boy before he had a contract. WE ASKED FOR THIS.

The people who dictate whats on the radio are middle school kids. No one else has the time to call up radio stations to request songs and go vote for some stupid "snap" song. Kids stop buying music so now they sell them stupid "ringtone rap" to make up for album sales drop.

It doesnt matter what the lyrical content is, or production, as long as its "the hot new joint from lil faggy" and they got hot bitches shakin their asses in their music videos. Its all that most people are exposed to.

this could be very very true. I could really see that. And once a physical record/tape/cd is not being made, which is inevitable, music will get better. After all, the child is going to need a credit card and once their parents see what their kids want to buy a TON of parents are going to kick their child right in the sternum.
Busted informed me of something I was unaware of so this could be very possible in this case. AND if it's true, it speaks volumes to what the youth of America is demanding from the quality of music. It sounds like SHIT! I just gotta put this thread in my "damn kids! Get offamy lawn" file.

I was thinking the same thing. If Soulja Boy opened for Common they would get boo'ed right the fuck off stage. NYC has pretty decent music outside of 50cent (after his first aftermath CD). One of the best lyricists I've ever heard was Big Pun. Not to mention Biggie, who although doesn't have the best lyrics in the world he could make a song sound like poetry and is probably the best story tellers in history of hip hop.

No, it's not good music.

Yes, I generally hate the shit out of top 40 rap-pop-whatever you want to call it.

But the first time I heard this song, it made me laugh and I thought it was entertaining in a completely retarded non-serious sort of way. Catchy, and fun to act stupid to when you're in the car on the way to work. I'll probably hate it in 2 weeks.

Sunday, I downloaded 2 albums:
Skillz - "The Million Dollar Backpack"
and
Royce da 5'9" - "Street Hop"

Both contain commentary of the industry as a whole, both contain either mentions of or direct involvement of people worthy of respect in the industry. Skillz went DEEP into the "hip hop is dead" claims and, without naming names, made it readily apparent why his sentiment was such.
Royce, in his commentary piece, was a cab driver, and his fares were Pac and Biggie, the story he told was of dropping them off at the places of their murders, in the meantime rapping verses using their voices/styles to make it apparent what he was saying.

I ordered Skillz' album yesterday and will do the same for Royce THE INSTANT it becomes available.

YES...that Royce album is fire...there are a select few of upcoming underground artists that i think will make/are making good contributions to "the game" hopefully...i pray...that we can go back to the days of 93' til infinity
Funny is how the song I described, "Taxi Driver" is a great song and is probably better for the nostalgia it sparks, but is not the best STORY. That, hands down goes to track 2, "A part of me" which is a tale of every man's worst nightmare.

you guys are so fucking critical of rap music, come on, its fucking RAP

its not your super serious, straight from the heart underground hip hop. its not supposed to be.

its supposed to have a good beat and catchy lyrics, its supposed to be music you can turn on at a party or club and people will want to dance to it and be happy.

turn on your hardcore 2pac, 36 mafia, biggie, whatever in a club and see what happens.... everyone will stop dancing and walk away. i'm not saying this music is bad, its just different, these are great for chillin or driving and listening to...

you guys are comparing apples and orange here...

I hope your joking, because you know they had clubs when 2Pac and Biggie were alive. Guess what they played their music there too. People danced and had a joyous time but they could also hop into their ride and listen to that same music and have be happy.

Problem is people just have much shorter attention spans now and a catchy lyrics and beats will keep those same people much more attentive while listening to all this shitty music.

And adding to the Chicago rappers list: Rhymefest is badass, he produced and wrote Jesus Walks (until Kanye changed the lyrics).

Well, I finally found out what my dad meant by "generation gap" I just can't listen to new music. Maybe I'm just too old or music just got more stupid. I don't know. I find myself still listening to the same punk, hardcore, rockabilly and psychobilly that I listened to when I was young. That's not to say that I don't still enjoy the occasional n.w.a.,public enemy, run d.m.c., or older ll cool j song because I do.

I just can't bring myself to listen to the music that's on public radio. You can call me old fashioned or just plain old but, thank god for satellite radio.

yeah, the kids think that there were no dancing in clubs before krunk music. I just could never understand why a strait man would EVER play "club music" in their car....seems kinda fruity to me honestly.

And also rap and hip hop was NEVER intended to just have a catchy beat. Hip hop really originated from more of a free style rhyming. It graduated to who can rap the fastest so rap and hip hop has been more about the lyrics than anything else. Only for the past 5 or so years has hip hop really strayed into gay little synchronized dances and preschool type catch phrases.

as much as I dislike his music I cant hate on souja boy, he is the smart one, no lyrical talent what so ever and yet he gets paid. Why? because his peers are stupid. They eat up anythin they can get up and dance to no matter how simple it is. It kind of reminds me of the retarded ass kids shows that come on pbs. Its retarded to us older folks, but the youngins love it. same deal. Soulja boy or the people like him wont kill hip hop. Not as long as we have true artists like Lupe Fiasco,

Big Pun all day one of the best rappers to come out of new york who gets no credit,

If pun and biggie were still here..

50 and Jigga wouldn't have the status they have now and thats a fact!!

I dont know i kinda like this song. I think its the way he raps is what makes me laugh. The girls throw me fish cause my rims big willy. lol. I say its cool if your with your friends and your goofing off but constant play its like no!

I <3 young jeezy. If your gettin your hustle on and want inspiration Young jeezy. But i cant listen to young jeezy too much cause hell make me wanna fight someone. lol. Speaking of fall off rappers what happen to mike jones? who you ask..... the guy who put his own phone numbers on tshirts. lol

I think pun was a great artist and true he didnt get all the credit he deserved maybe some people just didnt realize the talent and flows this guy had. I play the yeah baby album every so often. But yes Jeezy just makes me want to start wildn out on my xbox playing cod4 or counterstrike. I was in a good mood you know, its my birthday and all. So i just turn around thinking maybe he wasnt looking at me sometimes people get mistaken. NO! He still was. So i got my gas came out and he was on the other end playing ludacris....I was thinking alright its on. I was gonna crank VIC but it went deadly. So i turned up that *says it like R kelly in go getta* YOUNG JEEEEEZZAAAYYY! Track of choice "J.E.E.Z.Y!" It made me feel better just killi'n his beats. What do you guys think of "The Streets" ?? I love the dude, and it would be hip hop I guess. But from a totally different area of the world were there arent guns, fly cars donkin, and major drug problems. So its like hip hop, but without the grit, and so its more of social issues and life stuff.

His older album is alot more funny, and the newer one deals with alot more life issues and emotional stuff

I've been reading this thread and thinkin. Perhaps we are in a musical paradigm shift. Hip-hop has shifted from the likes of curtis blow, to Nwa, to hot boys, ect. (not in that order, but juss fivin an idea of differnt sounds that are real popular in diff times) I remeber 6 years ago, I could listen to the radio for 3 hours at a time. Now I cant stand radio for more than 30 mins, cuz it seems the new stuff that rapes the radio waves and videos is the "crank that" stuff. I find myself listenin to "old" music that is between 5-15 years old way more than I do anythin current. I think the same thing happend to alot of our parents when the gangsta rap of the 90's came out. Maybe even before. case in point, we all gettin old

ericcastro
07-24-2008, 02:23 PM
hip hop never shifted to NWA or hot boyz. thas all rap. When NWA was poppin, I was listening to De La Soul, Tribe, Leaders of the New School, Gangstarr......

People forget, or aren't old enough to remember. Since the begining of the 90's, there has been a huge difference is hip hop and rap. The mainstream doesnt get that, media doesnt, rap fans dont, but hip hop listeners understand that there is a huge difference. When DMX was rapping, I knew alot of people bumping the Roots.

but yes, we are definatly getting old. Im 31.
But the music and TV and Movies of today are different too. The way the "internet" generation works is different. Instant gratification, here one minute, gone the next.
My X works at Disney in one of the Marketing Departments. They do extensive studies on this. Kids today are too used to instant answers due to the internet, google.....they dont use thier own imaginations, TV, Video games, warcraft, internet, youtube.

And so you have very uncreative, non freethinking, fickle, easily amused and easily bored people.

When she first told me this i was very offended, and its not even my generation!! lol but then it makes sense. And raising her daughter we tried to combat this.

So when you wonder why the music is soooo bad, and so stupid. Thats part of the why. Theres always bad music on top 40, no matter what generation. But some of the stuff now days seems really bad!!

Thank god for Lil Wayne. He can put out talented rap. So us hip hop heads can have hope for our head bobbing cousins, the rap listeners.

ericcastro you have a point. There are two sides to every store I suppose. though I may not care for it, I think alot of the new stuff has its place, I mean if for the people who go to clubs I am sure they dont want to be clubbin to de la soul, lupe, eminem and what not. I understand the hip-hop/rap thing too, but it seems to me the newer stuff is somehow below rap. Rap artists back in the day still have some kind of talent. Compared to: common T.I. kanye Hova Jeezy???

Hope your not talking to me???? I never compared him to ANY hip hop artist.

I made the statement that Lil Wayne is better than almost all the cheesy top 40 rap. IE, solja boy and fools like that.
And he's alot more talented than you all give him credit for. If you go through his stuff about 2 or more albums ago, the shits really good. Especially for someone coming out of the hood, making money rap and realizing that rhyming is alot mroe than just making money.
Time will tell with him.

And is there anyone else here that will stand up and say that Pac and Biggie aren't the lyrical gods that everyone makes them out to be??

Im sure that will offend alot of you, but I was also breakdanceing and singing along to the beat street soundtrack before almost everone on this thread was born. i have been listening to rap and hiphop for over 23 or so years. How many of you remember 2Pacs video, "when my homie calls", or getting Biggies album the day it came out??

Tpain is a joke along with plies, young berg, flow ryda, lil mama, souljah boy, vic, hurricane chris, unk, dfFAIL!, boosie, webbie,i50 or whatever ludacrisis conrad was, chingy, lil zane, lil bow wow's, b2k, new edition, old edition, b5, this list will continue since we do have alot of corny rappers in the industry today. Folks throw away your radios. This could kill them instantly!

you forgot shawty lo, young joc, guerrila black, lil flip, j-kwon,nick cannon, camron, maino, mike jones, bow wow, jim jones, so many newbs in the game

Wayne maybe above them when it comes to seniority to the game but all that shit is basura bro

lil wayne , dipset(oh god i hate them), all of them

I think wayne is on the level to where I can bump his shit rollin round town, or maybe a few songs here and there on the ipod but as a daily listener naw, but total agreeance on dipset. They fuckin suck

I agree on most of those, but boosie and luda? Boosie may not be the most lyrical or intelligent rapper to date, but his beats and flow juss so damn hard. When I am rollin round town I love makin the 15"s quake with boosie. and luda, I actually liked him better on his earlier cds but I am wonderin how do you feel he is on the same level with those others. His lyrics have flow and meaning to them. He raps like he actually has a degree

stiizy
07-24-2008, 03:06 PM
^^ Luda used to be so sick back in the day but i think he got that " I know i'm good mentality, so i can say what i want and sell it" just like camron when he first came out he was okay on his album confessions of fire.. Boosie beats hit hard, but i'll pass on his flow

1. yes i was talking to you when i said "Are you Serious"

2. i never said you compared him to them..

He is fuckin garbage i don't care what anyone says,

You came out like thank God for Lil Wayne??

He ain't shit, just another pop rapper that the general brain washed public likes.

Biggie thats a whole different story his flow was remarkable...

Pac never a fan

And thats cool you've been listening to hip hop for a long time, i aint trying to disrespect you in any way but you were making it out to be like wayne was the savior of hip hop and that is not true at all

Rap artists back in the day still have some kind of talent.

Like heavy D and the boyz, "now that we found love"
sir mix alot, "baby got back", "posse on broadway"
will smith, "nightmare on my street", "gettin jiggy"
Tag Team, "whoomp"
Warren G "regulate"
MC Hammer
Koolio "gangsters paradise"

Basically top 40 always sucks as far as talent goes. And we are just talking about rap here (dont get me started on coldplay and shit).

But I do think its getting a bit worse. When I was younger, the crap songs were farther apart, but now theres like 10 in rotation at a time. Thats my point.

And so, When we had something top 40 with some rhyme talent, we would be stoked
Nauty by nature
snoop
biggie
yes, even cube
das efx
wu tang

And now those guys are
lil wayne,
kayne (causes hes like pac to me, lotta talent, but not as big as the hype)
and who ever else understand rhyme and flow.

How many Pac fans have I offended?? ( cause you all dont remeber, he wasn't as big of a deal till after he died. He was considered kinda cheesy gangster rapper for high school kids.) FYI :)

Damn Rick you sold me false hopes i was hopping you didnt fool me into your dreams. :(.

recorrection to his lyrics for hustlin....I know the real warden. warden? the real warden he owes me a 100 favors....

Well then again i guess he really didnt lie. Didnt he say this in boss?

You need to reread my post.

I clearly made the statement that lil wayne could possably be the savior to RAP!!!!! not hip hop. And more specifically, TOP 40 RAP!
cause someone needs to put something with some talent in place of whatever ghey black eyed peas, or soulja boy song is next.!!!
And so yes, I believe little wayne can help put some lyrisism and flow back into the radio.

stiizy
07-24-2008, 03:15 PM
Maybe Rap.........

But he will never be real talent......

Top 40 fine cause all that shit is wack anyway i don't care about the new rihanna track with lil wayne coming up next na fuck that...

lol, I will argue wayne is good. lol

but I wont argue he's great.
If you look over his career, lyrically, and flow wise. He's progressing pretty quikly from, "I need a hot boy", "number one stunner", "bling bling".

Now his songs pack alot more lyrics in, have stories and meaning. He understand more about it all, and even talks of lyrically battling people.
I would debate that hes better than alot of top 40 rap "artist" these days.

Thats why I say Time Will Tell with him. I think he has great possabbility in his future.
I like him, so i hope so.:D

Dont know which song. Lil Waynes careers kinda tuff to follow with all the albums, cameo's, DJ album's, shit getting leaked out and album songs changing, lol

and I cant listen to Funk Flex. I bought one of his first DJ CD's in the early 90's. And it was great, had fugees mixed into some other dope stuff. But I HATE when DJ's "holla" there fucking name in the middle of some shit. To this day, me and my homies from back in the day will randomly yell out, "Funk Flex" and "New Shit" when drinking. lol

Now, as a whole, Late 80's early 90's rap was leaps and bounds better than what's out now, but whatever.

I would much rather listen to Solja boy or some of these other annoying ass Disney style negus' than listen to the radio with all these whineing bitches talking about love.

exFUCKINGactly. He was a teeny bopper rapper and really only women and young kids liked him. If you sit and actually listen to the majority of 2Pac songs they're almost as unlistenable as most modern shitty rap. A lot of people claim him to be some rap guru but his style was being picked apart by most east coast rappers and even fellow west coast rappers. After he died the media made him seem like the general of the west coast army, when he certainly was NOT!

Basically top 40 always sucks as far as talent goes. And we are just talking about rap here (dont get me started on coldplay and shit).

It's not that popular music always sucks, and it's certainly not that music being popular means that it's good. The music industry now, more than ever, is purely about business. Talent and marketability aren't mutually exclusive, and they're not closely linked either. There's almost no correlation between whether or not music is actually good and has some thought, hard work and talent behind it, and whether or not it's popular and sells.

Some shitty stupid hip-hop sells (Soulja Boy/T-Pain/et al)
Some talented hip-hop artists sell (Eminem)

Same thing with rock, or any genre. Nickelback sells asstons of records. Tool puts out an album every ~5 years, and they sell plenty as well. Not as many, I'm sure, but whatever.

No one wants to take the time to enjoy music and really listen to it anymore, we just want to be entertained. Music with thought and effort behind it takes a backseat to sex and shiny things.

Sometimes, music that had actual time and thought spent on it manages to appeal to our short attention spans as well, which is why sometimes there's actually good music on the radio.

ericcastro
07-24-2008, 03:39 PM
^ lol, your basically backing up my post earlier where I touched on "internet generation".
But I agree with you. I was thinking about it earlier, and untill media came in, music had to carry itself. So it seems up untill the 60's or 70's, you didnt have alot of plain crap. Some bubble gum yes, but well thought out lyrics and music.
Some were after stadium shows and 8 tracks came out, one hit wonders poped up to.
Cause when I thought about it, even the 80's and the disco of the 70's was full of one hit crap. But i cant think of to much before that??

I would rep you but i gave out too much for today...

Took me some time to catch it also, but he meant like hydralics.

I personally think he is trash and all that gangster b.s. he talks is lies. Studio gangster. @ school for instance, left B.G. to get jumped (literally ran), which b.g. later chin checked him. Shoot yourself and rap about it like you got shot by someone, get robbed by someone without a weapon, I'm pretty sure there is worse.

As for the bandana thing, they have no meaning in new orleans, they're no bloods/crips in new orleans, its was a fashion thing for years down there.

The funniest thing ever is wanye was saying best rapper alive this and that, but that later changed after jay-z slayed him on T.I's "watch what you say." Then he and jay was on stage together and he said "(pointed at jay) best rapper alive, (pointed at himself) next rapper in line." If you the best, you the best...Dont eat your words wayne.

I honestly can't believe how many of you are so quick to shit on Wayne, but talk up Jeezy.
Jeezy can't rhyme, has NO subject matter if you take "selling crack" from him and has no career if you take his ad-libs from him (AAAAAYE!!!)
I'll take Lil' Wayne any day of the week before Jeezy. Simply put, he can fucking rhyme, and on top of that, everything I have heard and read says that he is one of the most professional individuals to work with when he agrees to do a song with you, even if HE asks YOU to get on a song, no matter how large or small an artist you are.

That comment wasn't towards you. Honestly, I didn't even see your post till now.

Anyone can think what they want about anyone.

Honestly, I could care less if anyone likes/dislikes lil wayne.

It's not like they're my cousin or anything.

I'm making shit off his name, so why care; you know?

Phlip I completelly agree with you Wayne can rap alot better than jeezy, all jeezy does is talk, but for some reason, its juss so tight. I can only take so much wayne at a time, but jeezy I can listen to jeezy all day.

But i don't agree bout the talk part

where was PHLIP and ZAR yesterday when I was in here by myself!? lol

They are trying to push the same thing I was. And lil wayne has some songs about struggle and some personal pain in his life, which also makes me think he is matureing into something even better.

Oh yeah, I let the red squares drop, bling bling :)
"way to add to a great thread, goofball - castro :)"

Oh yeah, is it Royce the 5'9" ??? cause thats what i am downloading on limewire ( i bought wayne and kayne, im just broke now :) )

and the best quote of the thread..........

What the fuck.

Lil wayne does more than just talk shit about lollipops.

What about the mix tapes!?

Shit's crazy!

Look for some, like the Dedication 2, Drought 3, The drought is over.

So many good times to be had.

Makes me think people just hate him to hate.
This coming from someone in Cali, where rappers from other areas, especially in the south, are hated for little to no reason.
Think about it, sheeple.

We can hate all other rappers cause we got everything from Deathrow type stuff to Hiero !! plus the bay is like an entire other world. We constantly put out amazing shit and industry changing shit. Theres a random artist that shows up outside of California occationally, but the majority comes from California.

could be the fact that thiers just so many more people here :) Our population is larger than Canada all together.

Aight I got a topic for yall, rappers who have changed for the worst

My case in point, Three 6 Mafia. While not the most lyrical of groups they use to be hard as hell. I loved bumpin them when I was rollin round town or chillin wit my boys. butthey new ablum, hell I wouldnt even want it for free. How you gone go from saying "beat a dude to the flo" to "twistin my body from side to side"? Shit sucks

stiizy
07-25-2008, 01:38 PM
yea i'm like that with alot of shit especially the cats who have fallen off big time....

you know who i give credit to...

Paul Wall

yes i know he's wack as hell but for a whiteboy he really made a name for himself

!Zar!
07-25-2008, 01:42 PM
For white people, it goes Robin Thicke; I don't give a fuck if he doesn't rap. Dude is a G and I say is should be initiated into blackness, after Bill Clinton.

But I digress... Eminem was better than Paul Wall... Something about Paul Wall I didn't like.

Lets not forgot Vanilla Ice.

Dude was poppin.

I hate it when really good artists put out like one album every 1.5-2 years. Then again, I dont really like it when they pull a Pastor Troy and put an ablum out every 8 months either. I think one a year is a good balance. The album I am lookin forward to most, LupEnd hands fuggin down

Yes he has made a name for himself, but yes he is lame as hell. Musically lil whyte or em would rip him apart IMO.

07-25-2008, 01:46 PM

You know who fell off and i hate to say it REDMAN,,

Yea that shit was fire. Though for some reason I can only listen to whyte in spurts here in there, too much and his voice grates my everlasting nerve.

He released an album last year (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_Gone_Wild). I wonder if he is havin trouble adjusting to the new game, or is the whole downloadin thing messin with his paper

Wrong.
1.5-2 years is a NORMAL rate of work (think about Redman, he is THE epitome of this, and hasn't missed yet)... We can thank DMX, No Limit and 96-2000 Cash Money Records for the inundation that became the new standard.
It was cool from there, we could expect a new Eminem album in March, a few mid-levelers over the summer, and Jay-Z would close the year out with a November release.
Yes, people, I download a lot of music, but I am a COLLECTOR, one who has been in some retailer of music in some shape damn near every tuesday since I started working in 1995.

i remember i met redman at action tire in jersey where he goes for his rims and shit and i asked him when he was gonna drop next this was like 2 years ago

He said that he can drop an album every 8 months but they won't let him and that most of his new shit that comes out is usually a little old

I totally agree with that schedule Phlip jay always drops late and em early and alot of bs in the mid months..

Future240

You need some time for the album to sell and mature... In between you do guest appearances or concerts etc. Time builds up the response for request for new albums. You dont hear much from older artist because they probably got other things going on for them or simply dont need to push new albums left and right. Let em build anticipation.

I like the artist who give alot of time between albums, it lets each individual album have its own time to be a hit.. LL got like over 10 albums *even tho its spaned over 20 years* but can you say which one was the best?

I think its about time for Outkast to put a new album out, but go back to their ATliens days.

Future240

07-25-2008, 02:15 PM
i think a good time to release is like yea 1.2 to 1.5 years leaves adequate time for real work and gives fans something to be anxious about...

Pastor troy is also releasing independent as well, meaning he rakes WAAAAY more money than the measly money he would make in a regular contract on a label. I see what he is doing and I respect his grind.

ericcastro
07-25-2008, 02:20 PM
yeah, an album every 2 years is why dudes are falling off.

Cause an album comes out, and the tour and all the MTV and top 40 radio apperances, then the overseas tour. then a vacation to relax. and its a year in a half later. that gives you 6 months to make an amazing album. your first one took 6 years and killed it, why would you be able to do it in months.

every about 3.5 years would be good enough to build some rimes, reflect, work on em and really make sure its all ready.

but then again, ya gotta get it while your hot.

Plus. POSI REP is coming for everyone that mentioned Royce. Been Downloading and listening all day. thanks!!!

I am waiting on the D12 mixtape.
Why, you ask?
Yes, I hated D12's earlier shit, and so did Royce da 5'9" and it caused some friction between he and them... After Proof died, he and Em apparently made up and they will be working together, and I am a HUGE Royce fan.

another example was J's black album. That shit was GARBAGE!!!! They actually had to turn a 2 cd set to 1 cd and it was STILL garbage. The only good song was Lucifer because of the sample. But that was it. I think greed from labels have almost ruined the business.
