So, can anyone give me tips on where to attach my aero to my car? Both the front and back bumpers look like they will go on no problem, the sideskirts dont fit they are too short, so i'm guessing I need to cut the bottom of my fender? So please explain where I should drill and attach with self tapping screws or zip ties.

Just want to get it to fit right and not be ghetto rigged, thanks to anyone that helps out.

You need to drill your own holes. Keep pulling on the sideskirts to get them to stretch around the fenders. Heating them up sometimes helps.

I know that, i'm just trying to see where everyone drills to attach to the car.

Where ever your kit wraps around the car. This is before I cut the ties. Sideskirts don't fall off very often so I have them attached with 4 zipties. Rear bumper and front bumper are held on by two each so that the bumper can fly off with ease.

For your rear bumper you can also bolt some L-brackets to your rear bumper support to keep the rear bumper from sagging or you can do what I did and weld some brackets on to it. We triangulated it to make it stronger and we put some rubber pads on the top to get the gap perfect and keep the metal bracket from rubbing through the bumper.

cool thanks so much for your help, will having no front bumper support be a problem for me? I would think it would sag if only using 2 zipties on each side, and thanks for the tip on using less zipties so it break off easy.

Thanks for your input, I think i'm gonna stick with zipties for now.

SWEET! Thanks flybert, I will probably make some brackets that come off my intercooler to make up for no bumper support, i'll see how the rear comes out. Thanks again really good info in this thread.

I did put a body kit once on a car well i migth be pushing it by using that term sense it was a honda. I drilled the holes like u guys in the pics but instead of zip ties I got some rivets from work, used to work for u-haul as a mechanic then join the army (don't do it) anyways I pop them in with a rivet gun. It looked ok much less noticeble than zip ties which i have nothing against, me and zip ties go way back. But i would use rivets if it was my car.

The reason we use zip ties it cuz most of our cars are so low that when we hit shit (uneven roads, speed bumps) is we want the zip-tie to break before the fiberglass does so then we can just re-zip-tie it rather than fiberglassing.

Yeah I test fitted everything yesterday I got the sideskirts on I need to make brackets for my front bumper because I have no support, and the rear bumper sags so much near the rear garnish. I'm going to try to fix it all today and i'll get some pics up.

Thanks to everyone that contributed to the thread I finally got it all mounted up and fit tonight with the exception of the right sideskirt I still need to drill another hole to make it fit better.

Don't mind the cool fire effects and logos on the hood, courtesy of my friends lol.

Oh I had to do something terribly ghetto to the rear bumper to close the gap it looked HORRIBLE before so I wont even say what I did since i'm embarrassed hahaha.
Also got to do something with the exhaust its blowing right into the bumper i'll probably get a custom straight pipe or something annoying. Gonna pull it off and paint it tomorrow.

Your bumper must be on the ground now, I think you're probably the lowest out of all of us in the 818 right now?

Oh i never tougth of that, thanx . Well i guess it depends how i will do it now when i get back to the states because i dont like to slam my car but sometimes the roads of some states just suck so bad that i will just have to use zip ties anyways.
