Volk TE37

i have a blue 240sx 98, do u guys think that Volk TE37 looks good on my car?? I am looking for 17" 225/40/17

I have a black 97 with bronze volk TE-37 and I think it looks good. What color, size, offset are you looking for? I have 17x 7.5 in the front with 235/40/17 and 17 x 9 in the back with 255/40/17 (if I remember right). Mine are 40mm offset; looks good in the back but sits in too far in the front. I'm thinking about spacers for the front. I have 300zx brakes up front and my wheels cleared by about 1mm.

so ur gonna drop quality rims for something less?? weird. 5zigen 5ZR are played out on 240s. so many people have them now since they saw it on that blue 240 on Import 2NR. even civics are getting them now. a lot of peopl ehave Volk, but thats a light weight rim

well i think if you like rims, no matter what quality they are, you should go ahead and get them if you want. it's your money. who cares if its played out? who cares if civics have them? your car is what you make it and you make it what you want.

on another note:
on my red s13 i use the 99 sentra wheels 205/R16
and on the burgandy one? volk GTNs. aka Ce28N 225/R18
and mugen rims are pretty too!

Rotas are good knockoffs. I saw the flat black Subzeroes and they looked nice, but I don't know about the quality. I don't think they weigh much either. The only thing is most of them are made for front wheel drive offsets (ie. honda acuras).

I say stick with the volks. Unless you're gonna get 18's (the only 2 piece 5zrs come in)

I would suggest you get 18's for you ride. I got 5-zigen copse 17's, but for the s14's the wheel well is pretty big and the gap is huge if not dropped. I got eibach lowering springs and they still look small in the wheel well. I have 17x8 215/40 in front and 225/40 in the rear. I suggest you get 18x8.5 in front and 18x9 in the rear with thicker tires. If you wanna go race then you could stick to the 17's cause the bigger the rim the more power to turn them which in turn creates a loss in hp.

Tires in the proper size would probably fix your gap problem. Try 225/45-17 or 245/40-17...

The tires you're running are altogether just too small.

Is 17x7.5 +30 with 215/45/R17 in the front, and
17x8.5 +40 with 235/45/R17 in the rear ok on S14a?
I'm thinking to get brake upgrade later on for the front, so 30+mm offset should clear the big caliper.....
The rims are TE37 btw.

my friend is trying to sell me a Advan Racing TC 17", are they good?? it comes with Nitto power extreme tire 225/45/17. He is trying to sell me for $700. The rim's condition are good. Just a little bit of scratch on one rim. what you guys think???please give me some advice!!
