Hey guys I am about to order the H4 conversion (Bosch from PDM Racing) for my S13 and just wanted to get some feedback on what everyone thinks about them. I drive alot on very dark backroads and want this upgrade for light output and I really could care less what color my headlights are. So I would like some recommendations on which bulbs to throw in there also (I have a friend with Sylvania Silverstars in his C5 and he really loves them).

well idont have a s13 with H4 conversion but i have a comment on the Silverstars, i think they are damn great even at the cost. bright and not cheap. you say u drive on the backgrounds..guessing nobody is really around, no? just get HID retofit, ull get the glare and bright ass lights to shine and see the whole road but of course the downside is the glare and on coming traffic that are being blinded. but i say DO get the silverstars

i did the conversion... and i love it. even though i had to resort to buying the ractive ones, because of blowing a bulb on my passanger side, and couldn't wait for ones to ship. but, i love them. the installation isn't too bad, unless you hit rusty screws, in which i did. PB blaster did the trick for me. As for bulbs, i got jipped into buying blue ones for like $9 a peice. and they're not that much brighter. so, would it be worth buying sylvainias? well, hope you do it. looks just like projectors.

I've got the H4 E-code lenses with PIAA Super Plasma bulbs. Way better than the sealed beams. The light output is more evenly distributed on the ground. I would recommend the PIAA bulbs but they are kinda expensive. I'm actually planning on changing my whole setup using the sealed beams from a mid-90's camaro. They're about half the size of our sealed beams. I just have to find a way to mount it in there and have the headlights open half way. I think it'll look a lot better!

i have H4 conversions and they are a nice improvement over sealed beam units. I had some cheap bulbs at first but i've moved to Catz galaxy white bulbs and they are VERY nice. My recommendation would be Catz or PIAA bulbs, never seen silverstars in action though so that might be an option.
