I was reading about the drift cup and had a few questions.

The date: is it aug. 30 or 31? the flier says the 30th but the web page header says the 31st.

How much is the entry fee?

Are there any prizes?

Standard single runs to top 16, then tandem?

Formula D/ D1 style rules/judging format?

The event is August 30th thank you for the correction.
The fee I believe is $100.00
its for bigging and intermediate drivers
There are prizes I don"t have the prize amount or product information yet from company's but it will be listed on the website shortly.
there will be a morning practice than a qualifying round then competition.
as rules and judging it will be similar. with a couple of changes.

online registration starts August 1, 2008, mail in registration started July 15, 2008

ok for what i know this event is definately going to be at the balcony but they are gonna set it up diffrent to your regular balcony course. pat and joon are going to be there so theres a chance to test your skills with the pros. this event is going to be awesome and for 100bucks you cant go wrong.

According to the schedule there is also a JustDrift event that weekend.

That response is not to clear, will there be tadem eliminations? If it's only beginner and intermediate? Is Pat and Joon Competing?

i dont think the host of the competition is very clear on what will be happening yet. At least thats what i got from there email response.

Sorry for the vague description.I'm working on all the details. Yes Joon and Pat Are going to be there . Depending on driver skills there is a possibility there will be tandem runs against the pro's. As for just drift I noticed there schedule states they are booked for balcony, unfortunately we have the course reserved for our event. I will keep you informed as details unfold.
