i just put a new turbo in it. it started right up but the rear coolant pipe for the turbo leaked. drove it for a second then parked it due to smoking. the dipstick popped off and blew oil out the dipstick onto the headers. took the headers off fixed the pipe and rechecked oil level...its good. now it wont do much more than crank. sounds like its trying but wont start. any ideads??? like i said it has fuel spark and cranks. cam sensor? crank sensor? ingnitor chip? ecu? compression/headgasket? those are the option i have figured cud be causing it but idk what wud be the most logical starting point.

i am going to go ahead and say that its my compression - head gasket/rings - since my compression test came up with 90-55-25-25 from #1-4. f*in a. i hope i dont have to put new rings in this ho ive had it for 3 months and driven it 3 hrs total. wat a headache this project is being. i'm begining to lose hope.....120hrs into it already

does the motor have to be running in order to get an accurate reading for compression???

With compression numbers like that sounds to me like your cams aren't mechanically timed correctly. I had bizarre compression numbers like that when I was building my swap and I readjusted the cams following the FSM and I got like 150psi across all four, and then she started up fine.
