MAG4 held another dyno days today and they ran 28 cars today, $20 for 3 runs. Fun time, I put down 271 in my gf's srt4. Now on to my car
Bone stock SR minus rocker arm stoppers. Stock cams, stock headgasket.
GT28RS Turbo at 17 psi
Nismo 555cc Injectors
Enthalpy Tune
First Run was boost only. 321hp and 326 tq

Second Run. 1/4 Mile Pull.

Third Run was boost and a 55 shot of nitrous. 364 hp and 383 tq (Corrected numbers were 383hp and 407tq)

If you planned on dragging the car why didnt you go with a larger turbo? Atleast a t3 size? Still though nice times and numbers-

I gotta admit those numbers look good and the curves are not bad. The bottle really flattened the curves out. If I were you, I would be interested in figuring out how to flatten the curves out more, in the off bottle runs. Cause then your monster would be even scarier. :D

That was the first time I have ever used a bottle, I got the kit super cheap and just figured I'd try it. But it won't be used again until I get a head gasket in there and I only plan on using it at the drag strip every now and then.
I caught the infamous 300 hp bug, that when you hit it you only want more.

It's more like a hill due to stock cams.
I have no idea what my next goal is, head gasket, some cams possibly and we'll see from there. Maybe get some 740's and do a top mount 3076r or something.

Don't go 3076r IMO its too big. It will not spool till close to 4k which basically means you will move your whole torque and HP curves forward and lose street ability. If you like Honda style Torque and HP curves then maybe. I would not do it though.

^^^ Dave, after riding around in Steve Shadow's car, I can say that SRs are not penalized when using large frame turbos like some other cars (VW 1.8t's for instance) - his SR drove great out of the boost, and spooled somewhere around 4k with a hell-raising powerband until whatever redline he had at the time. It's do-able.
That being said, I say throw some 256's or 264's on there and enjoy a "real" powerband (one that doesn't have a massive torque fall-off at 6k). Glad you didn't blow anything up with the n2o and the stock HG :)

I really wanna order a head gasket tomorrow and get some HKS 264 step ones for now, but with the way everything is running good I'd rather not touch it.
And yea the stock headgasket held up fine, it was more like a test and I would not advise anyone else to attempt it. I guess I just got lucky that it didn't blow and still made it the 3.5 hour drive home flawlessly.

man im so jealous i have tons more shit than u and i only made 286whp and 291 torque @ 15psi,on a s15 turbo,built head w 264 cams,1.1mm head gasket,arp head studs,ras,740cc,nismo fpr,z32 maf,bolt on mania and power fc,i hate this shit, good numbers man props! as far as me F%#@ ME..i was on a dyno jet..tho..

Well he did boost 2 lbs more than you. They say you get 10 HP for lb pound of boost. Also who did the tune on your PowerFC? Also what kind of dyno were you on?

YEAH that makes a bit more sense but still weak numbers.i spent alot of time,sweat,and money for this shit..and i failed :hammer: Tune was done by top fuel in walnut,originaly i wanted to tune for 19psi,however motor started detonating at 12 psi so he called it quit at 15 w/45-50 % knock..motor is healthy a hell 150 across all boards so i dont know,,TUNE i guess? i was on a dyno jet..

Wait? You have 740cc injectors,Z32 MAF, and you were detonating at 12 psi with a PowerFC. Ah that guy does not know how to tune especially if your knock was so high. Sounds like your maps were way off. Do you have a fuel pressure regulator? Does Top fuel have experience with PowerFC's?
