horrific mercedes SLR mclaren crash *pics - no gore safe for work*

According to reports, this hair-raising accident happened in Qatar sometime during the morning of July 15th when the 22-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren allegedly lost control of the vehicle. We don’t know for sure if the driver actually made it out alive or any other details for that matter, but as you can see in the pictures after the jump, the SLR was literally torn into pieces. Shocking to say the least.

seems like as long as these cars dont smash into something head on, teh cabin stays together pretty good if the car does rolls etc.. like that one malibu enzo
