I've never been an extra, but in the building that I work at, they have filmed the show LOST, 5 or 6 times. We got to eat, grab gum, candy, fruits and whatever else they had. It never ceases to amaze me, how much work goes into making a 30 second scene. After all that work, a lot of the time they don't even use that scene. I gotta admit, it looks like fun working on the set, although I can see that it can be very stressful at times too. On top of that, they work some crazy hours. Not that I mind.

I was an extra, along with my car, in War of the Worlds. Got paid $600 along with complementery meals (filet mignon, steaks, mashed potatoes), massages, and Scientology "seminars" haha. Spielberg goes all out man.

I was in queensized, a lifetime movie. We've had a nice movie boom here, they shot Tekken the movie here and a few others.

But yeah, pretty much we got herded like cattle around a high school, but fed like steaks and shit during lunch, it was badass for 8.50 an hour.

I did a Anti-Drug movie when I was in 6th grade.

I made like $700 for a week of filming.

Movie was extremely lame. Mt parents have a copy somewhere, I don't even remember the title. :keke:

A classmate was an extra in the first Harry Potter. He was on screen at the forefront few seconds and get several thousands I believe (so the school rumours went )

3 days of shooting in Lompoc (I think) from 4p-3a. My S13 of course. They didn't use any of the scenes my car was used in, which I was sad about. :wtc:

i was an extra in the movie "Valkyrie", it comes out next february. Has Tome Cruise in it. i got to be a nazi soldier in what looks like Africa. Was shot way outside of victorville. Let me tell you, wearing long sleve shirts, jackets, boots, a helmet, a utility belt and carrying a rifle in 110 degree weather for 150 bucks a day isnt teh fun! But it was interesting since we had WWII planes flying overhead about 20 ft. above us! oh and the explosions were cool.
