z32 MAF???

so i was thinking of getting the z32 maf but im not sure if it would really help i have a s13 with a sr with minor boltons( intercooler,full exaust,intake,fuel pump, etc.) stock ecu. it runs great but i heard the z32 maf is a great upgrade but i vave some questions.


1.will it really make a difference if i just install it

2.will i need a tune or can i just instal it with out a tune

3.am i gonna have to rewire the maf

so if anyone has any answers let me know THANKS!!

1. No, unless your mafs is faulty.
2. Yes, you will need a retuning or something to convert the voltage.
3. Yes.

When should you consider a bigger mafs?
If your pulling close to 5v on the stock mafs.
When you upgrade turbo and/or injectors.
What's the easiest way to compensate for a new mafs?
piggybacks, romtunes and standalones.

I wouldnt bother unless you're pushing over 250hp.
