i live in san diego county...and i needed a couple of parts for my s14.

i searched the for sale threads, but someone would always beat me to the stuff i need.

what i needed:

alternator bracket adjuster
stock downpipe with o2 sensor
o2 sensor that goes in the manifold

so i went to chula vista, to ALL the junkyards. found one place that had the alternator bracket and the o2 manifold sensor.

80dllrs for both !!!

i was like, fak it.

so i found the alternator bracket at another junk yard. $30dllrs. I BOUGHT IT. thinking it was a bargain.

i decided to go to tijuana mexico just for the heck of it.

turns out, first mexican junk yard i go to, they have all the parts.

$30bucks for everything. i even took the whole freakn exhaust with an aftermarket muffler.

minus the alternator bracket. (which they were selling me for 5dllrs)

which i paid 30 in chula vista, ca.

so yeah, i paid 30 for something i couldve paid 5dllrs in mexico.

BUMMER....
