I gues the guy before me didnt ever bleed the brakes. All 4 bolts were siezed, got 2 loose, sheered one right off, and rounded off the other.

The only side I could bleed was the right passenger side. pumped, cracked open bleeder bla bla bla. However, brake pedal is very soft, with almost no bite, and i have to pump the brakes to get any kind of solid pressure. No leaks.

Is it possible to only bleed one brake caliper, and remove the air from both channels? That is if the 240sx is divided into 2 channels. Anybody have an idea on how to get pressure again? Its my daily, and I cant get new calipers for a while. thank you!

is there enough fluid in the master cylinder? maybe the master cylinder has some leaky piston cups. i have 2 front 240sx calipers if you need them.

there should be, the MC resevoir is at max. Things worked 100% perfectly fine before I was an idiot and decided to bleed my brakes with only 3 hours of sleep.

Howbout this guys;

Could I use the banjo bolts, have someone pump the brake the hold it, crack the banjo bolts open and then close?

no, you can't use the banjo bolts. the air is inside the caliper and wont exit the banjo bolt exit. just get a different set of calipers. it's the easiest way. the ones you have are screwed.

Agreed. Easy out that sucka and put a new one in. And as for the one that is rounded off, I'd take the caliper off the car, get a set of vise-grips on it and get that fitting out. Go to the store and get 2 new bleeder screws and BAM! put it all back together. You should be able to get the bleeders from a local parts store as well as the easy-out. Good Luck.

i used a whole bottle of pb blaster. Ill try my easy outs when I have time.

but hey if I didnt bleed the drivers front or rear at all, I shouldnt have a problem with that side right? Most likely improper bleeding on my part? I dont see how bleeding the pasenger side would induce air into the drivers side. anybody want to reassure me?

Air doesn't travel back through the system so if you didn't open either driver caliper you're fine unless there was already air in there.

Thank you sir! This is good news! Ill save for an s14 front/rear caliper and in the meantime re-bleed the 2 brakes I touched.
