It looks like Sony will be offering movie downloads now just something to look forward to. And for the people that don't own a PS3 they will be dropping the price on the 80gig PS3 to $399. So it looks like Microsoft X box 360 has the most expensive consoles on the market ($445 for the elite). I wonder if this price drop would boost up there sales.
Sony to offer PlayStation movie downloads
LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- Sony is raising the curtain on a PlayStation 3 movie download service.
The company announced at the E3 Business and Media Summit it will launch a downloadable movie service Tuesday featuring films from such studios as Disney, Fox and Warner Bros.
The standard and high definition videos (http://topics.cnn.com/topics/High_Definition_DVD_Players) can be downloaded to the console and transferred to a PlayStation Portable.
Rentals will cost $2.99 to $5.99. Purchases will cost $9.99 to $14.99.
Sony also announced it will sell an 80-gigabyte PS3 (http://topics.cnn.com/topics/Sony_PlayStation3) model for $399 beginning in September.
Among the new games revealed were "God of War III" and "Massive Action Game," which will allow up to 256 players to battle online.

For the people with a xbox 360 check out the whole new dashboard for it its ridicules it looks a lot like the ipod touch interface when your browsing your music. Plus you can know make a avatar like in Nintendo WII and use them in some games like 1 V.S. 100
