Finally after 6 months first CF hood for the 6th gen maxima

Long story short, I was tired of the lack of aftermarket support for the max so I took matter into my own hands, (mostly), I did a quick photoshop ask a couple companies and ended up with Carbon Creations, hood arrived last week I sold 6 already with 9 more arriving next month. I have my fingers crossed so this and the new body kit that is coming in next month as well sell good:bigok:

look guys I know this is no sport car, and im not pretending to make it one, but for a 4 door front wheel drive car, there is nothing out there that can touch this car in the same category.
Im just trying to fill some of the missing after market space this car should have.

no doubt. its fun to modify most any car. its just the act of doing it really, so i can see where you're coming from. i think when the package is complete, it will look much better. any sneak peek of the body kit? and keep in mind the maxima wheel wells can handle some lip...

sw20 when you say lip, are you talking about wheels or an actual front lip.?

and dont get me wrong like i said you're off to a good start just dont ingore the footwork ya know. wheels/stance make&break a project imo. and i actually think that body kit will look really good. gonna leave it factory color?

I like my gf's 07 Maxima. It looks nice, very comfortable, tons of room, yet I would never, ever think of this car as a performance car. I remember a while back I went to LACR in Palmdale, there was this guy in a silver Maxima with wheels, exhaust and whatever other bolt-on's, that thing still didnt even come close to 14.5 runs. Sorry but Maxima's are family cars and should stay that way. Just my opinion though.

that rear bumper part of the kit looks awful.

oh and FYI the V6 camrys are just as fast as the maximas and the avalons are just as fast AND better equipped. how do i know? i worked at toyota for 2 1/4 years as a tech.

It is a four door family sedan. Don't fool yourself.

Don't get me wrong, I like them a lot. I rented one on a recent business trip and liked it more than almost any car I've ever rented (and I've rented a lot). Great power, very nice on the inside, extremely comfortable.

But if I said it was a sports car with two extra doors, I'd be lying to myself.

With all that said...cool. Something different. I think a carbon hood looks completely out of place on a Maxima, but whatever. If you like it, props to you for pioneering it.
