Newbie need project info

Can get my hands on a 98 se. it needs major work, clutch, head gasket, maybe body work. with a top end of $10k what cna i do with her my goal is decent drivable power but havnt gotten enough info on motor . can anyone direct me toward more motor specs and whats best for this car.its time ofr a project car havnt been able to decide between a 240 or mitsu gsx just want to see the hp to $ ratio ut need to learn more on the 240 and what i can get out of it
