My Nissan Concept

A concept I started working on for a RWD short wheel base mid-engine nissan sports car to compete with the mazda miata, saturn sky, etc. Still early on, but u can start to see the outline of it.

I took inspiration from nissan's maxima and 350z and mixed in some german styling cue's to spice things up a bit.

definitely interested to see what the nissan crowd thinks, so feel free to leave comments, either positive or negative. No front bumper or sideskirts yet.

dude all you do is talk shit, every post you have some smart ass remark, no wonder you have that red trail. As for the car, looks pretty dope, with some more rendering and stuff will look awesome.

Edit: Back looks a little too much like a celica. But still nice that you can create stuff like this.

The tail lights are lifted directly off of a 350z.

uh, the tail lights are a different shape than a 350z, and if you think the tail lights are straight off a 350z, why'd you post a picture of a civic and imply that my rendering looked like one? :loco:

and single cam is probably referring to the way my fender flares out at the rear, kind of like the celica picture you posted, except my curves are more integrated like the 350Z, and actually the tail light design is a mix of the maxima and 350Z:

just instead of simply stretching out that shape, I stretched it out to give the car one long sweeping curve when you looked at it from the side, and gave the curve a more European line, and wrapped them around the back with a mix of styles between maxima and 350z with an original twist.

plus my tail lights aren't as long as the one's on the 350, look:

mine are more stubbed, and have a different line to them on the back and the side, they really only share one common curve.

2. b pillars

3. move side ducts foward a lil bit to accommodate an actual midshop design, as far back as they are now, it would be more suited for a rear engine layout (watch there be someone who says they are the same thing)


still looks good, but if i was to change anything i would play around with those ideas just to see what happens

I did it, it was hideous, so Im not going to post what it looked like, lol. Gonna play around with a b pillar, although I was thinking more of living it a clean transition like on a S13 hatch.

what program did you use? i like it.. just the tails do look a lot like a Z mixed with a celica. finish it up..cant wait to see what it looks like..

It's not bad, but you do have to admit it does carry some civic/celica tendencies. I'm gonna assume its going to carry kind of the current nissan front grill and stuff? Looking forward to the front end being completed.

When I first saw your concept, it made me think Caterham Super 7 but built in the 80's. I also see the gas lid is in the front? Side vents in the back and looks like an engine vent on the rear trunk? Smells like mid-rear engine to me. Not that you asked for suggestions or anything, but to make it more "current" you could try making the styling more flagrant.

i like it only thing i would change is the staggered wheels. other than that id like to see the finished rendering also...
