I have a 1990 240sx and it will not start the light and radio comes on and I had the battery checked at auto (http://zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?p=2177871&posted=1#) zone and its good. the other day I had to push start it and that worked. I am more of a surgeon then a doctor which means I can fix it but cant tell you what’s wrong with it help me out. I hear one click when I turn the key so i dont THINK it the starter

How many volts U got? Lights, radio can work and you wont even get enough to turn it over sometimes. You say batt is good but is it charged? your alt could be bad, You got an Ammeter?

I would take the starter off and have them test that as well. What you are hearing is probably the the starter gear kicking out or kicking out partially and not spinning. I would double check the battery as well, have them put a quick charge on it (should only take 45 minutes) and retest and see if that solves your problem.
