Just like to share my story,

So today, I was working on my 240sx coupe in storage. Me and my buds were just replacing wheels on the car (drifted too much and my tires got shredded).

About, an hour in, a storage employee comes over (prolly from the commotion of banging at the tire iron to get the lug off). He says, "Hey if the manager comes over and see's you guys working on your car, he can evict you guys, I'm not gonna write you guys up or anything."

The guy was cool for letting us know fair warning; but is it possible for them to evict me for working on my car?

I do pay the monthly fee's well before they are due and never late on payments. I can understand that I should not be making this much noise, that was my fault.

It's their garage, they can do whatever they want within the restriction of the contract. I can promise you they covered t heir ass for this situation too.

Is it stated in the rental agreement that is forbidden to work on your vehicle? If not, then that is something you need to talk the manager about when you get caught.

do you store the car inside?
i just got a storage unit yesterday and i asked about storing my coupe in it and working on it and i was told that i couldn't work on it because it has to do with fire issues. just think, if there is a fire in a couple storage unit's down they don't want a car with about 10 gallons of gas blowing up.

but then again idk what your using the unit for.

Yeah, that seems like a reasonable reason. I'm pretty sure, I wouldn't want another vehicle blowing up next to my car.

Yeah, I'm using it as a garage, hahaha..i just don't have any room to work on it at my place, its just too full of cars.

i use to work at uhaul and no you can not... we always looked the other way tho there's a guy who works on his car there all the time... its not sanctioned or permitted to have cars worked on in there... it will get them in trouble if something goes wrong...
