Thumbhole stock is better than pistol grip.

Why does Sillyvia have your signature?

The gun is beautiful dude! +reps!!!! Im a fan of the old soviet red furniture! I hoping to have my first AK(wasr 10) by the end of the summer but jersey sucks shit for fire arms stuff and it could take a while. BTW what type of rounds does that baby shoot? .308?

this is how the gun actually comes over from bulgaria initially (to arsenal inc, las vegas) they put US furniture on it, Put in a few different US made CNC milled components in (trigger, disconnector, etc) so that the weapon conforms to 922r. They also machine out the reciever to accept double stack mags

Arsenal was Producing these particular models anywhere from 01-06.... they are now discontinued..... they've all but abandoned CNC milled recievers now :(

Awesome! Nato rounds! Any opinions on the saiga Ak-47 that shoots the .308 rounds? I was looking at those aswell. They are pretty badass and saiga's auto shot guns are some serious firepower!

i may be wrong but Im pretty sure the only nato rounds are 5.56x45mm (very similar to .223) and 7.62x51mm (similar to .308)..... the 5.56 replaced the 7.62 NATO
7.62x39 is an old russian round from WWII...... it was 1st designed and used in the SKS

.308 is a great round and the next rifle i buy will be a .308 or 30-06.... something to hunt with

There is no need for Semi-Automatic weapons for hunting, unless of course you're hunting Zombies.

That is just an excuse used by some to justify their gun collection. It's a bullshit reason. :keke:

I'm all for guns. They serve a necessary purpose in todays world. Plus, they look bad ass, and are really fun to get down to business with.

However, if I ever go hunting I'm gonna do it with my legs and a knife.

I'd take a .308 over the 30-06. It still has some balls left a little further out. Guess it depends on what you're hunting...

I enjoy using the 7.62x54r in my mosin.

firing a rifle that's older than my grandma is fun.

^Same here and I thought it was going to be stupid as well....

I second thatguy's comment on the fact one only needs an ak47 for hunting uuh zombies.. right.

A while ago on canadian news there was some lil bit about some yearly (that they are trying to make bi-yearly) event in the US where people come from all around for a shooting range day. They had so many 10 year old kids, and even shooting f'en gattling guns (wtf?). Reverse the above for non US friendly nations and they'd be automatically labeled as terrorists, terrorist camps and youth being trained to be terrorists from a young age. Kind of funny if you think about it.

You guys are fucken violent and rage filled. Guns/war = ftl

You guys need to like... hunt with knives and arrows. That'd be real hunting. wtf a semi-automatic?

We're violent? Our violent crime rate has gone down since your gun bans went into place. Can't say the same for up there.

Indeed, if you're just going to come in here and run your mouth about how bad you THINK America is, then you can find a new hobby.

If you'd like to voice your opinion on Gun control, then feel free to do so in a mature fashion. But I'd suggest choosing your comments wisely.

Kick ass! Where's this done at? I want to go.

I also think you don't realize that what the media portrays and how the American people feel and think, are very different.

I seriously have not heard anyone call something they've seen on TV or in person 'terrorists' in a looong time. Unless of course it's obvious attacks (targeting and killing civilians of any nationality, with in the intent of killing civilians.) American people don't really label everything 'terrorist' like people think we do.

All kinds of chicken wing and lean-back shit up in that motherfucker. Kudos for the trigger discipline though!

Lean into the weapon, don't let the weapon lean into you. And tuck that arm!

Nice upgrade - though I prefer the synth furniture myself.

this thing has nearly zero recoil much thanks to the gas design applied in an Kalashnikov... Anyways that was a pose not how I actually fire.... My DE.... I have to lean WAY into that

LOL

Fire a Kalshnikov or especially a Krink on full auto and you'll be singing a different tune, my man. Even on semi, try leaning into it anyway and you'll find that your sights are thrown off much less by muzzle climb, even in the much tamer 5.45 and 5.56 flavors of Kalashnikov clones floating around.
Now if we were talking about something really tame on recoil like an Ultimax, that's a different story - But that's still no excuse for sloppy form :)

Though I gotta say that you've got nice taste in AK clones, I love my OG import SLR-95, even with its thumbholy weird stock.

But you're right about a DE thumpin & roarin! I've got a polished chrome later gen .50AE myself. But I'm getting sick of paying $1.30 a shot to play with the .50, Time to get back into reloading lol.

Did you watch that report with the sound turned down? It's the knob creek shoot:

Before you generalize all Americans as violent and rage filled - remember that Canadian troops are in Afghanistan and don't forget about Dawson College and Ecole Polytechnique.

Like I said that isnt my true shooting "form" but anywho,LOL ya it has alot of recoil in fullauto (not that I ever tied back the disconnector with a twist tie :p ) but semi isnt much of anything.... And lucky you! Speer gold dot .50ae is running me $45 for a box of 20!!!!

The hardest part of a Zombie apocalypse will be pretending I'm not excited. If God grants me the luck to see the zombie apocalypse in my lifetime (or, rather, in the part of my life where I can still carry and use a shotgun, a sledgehammer, a lawn mower, a semi, a chainsaw, maybe fireworks, or like a... a soldering iron or something) then my biggest concern will always be how much my friends judge after they think I'm enjoying myself too much, even though I'm pretty much doing all the fuckin' work.

Either way, that's the main reason I have a closet full of weapons in my house.

I don't really see the need to justify a gun collection anymore than you need to justify a coin collection.
